Last week, Sega released two trailers for Superstar Tennis that looked like the work experience kid had put them together.
Well, someone ought to have paid attention to our criticism, because the latest Sega Bass Fishing video makes them both look like Citizen Kane by comparison.
If you were to consider the screenshots and the previous trailer, Sega Bass Fishing would appear quite good. Had Sega concentrated on the actual game in this new video, we would imagine our opinion wouldn't have changed.
Unfortunately, all the Sega charm previously seen is completely overshadowed by two student actors overacting as if they were in a straight-to-video horror movie.
Honestly. We expect this sort of tosh from King of Clubs, but not from people from Sega.
And we get that they think it's ironic and post-modern. What we're saying though, is it isn't. It's just rubbish.

Nintendo has gone mad with Pokemon today. Not content with confirming the US release date for a bunch of new DS titles, it's also launched the website for WiiWare Pokemon game, Everyone's Pokemon Ranch.
Initially revealed last October under the name Pokemon Farm, the game is essentially a storage system where you can upload the evil demons from games Diamond and Pearl to a farmland far removed from malleable minds.
Daily life on the farm is full of activities like gathering around a campfire and taking photos of your Mii with your imprisoned beast.
You can even save these photos to an SD card, send them to the Wii Message Board for Photo Channel editing or even send them to friends.
And for those who have made it their lifetime's work to track down these descendants of the devil, you can keep up to a thousand creatures at any time.
As with all WiiWare titles, there's no release date for Everyone's Pokemon Ranch yet. We presume it will be one of the first out of the door, given it's already been confirmed and that it's part of the unstoppable Pokemon franchise.

Press release from elspa:
Two arrested for while-you-wait console chipping service; homebrew console chipping operation terminated.
Wednesday 27th February/... Two men, who peddled a while-you-wait console chipping service at a Midlands computer fair while simultaneously selling pre-chipped Nintendo® Wii™ and Nintendo® Wii™ consoles have been arrested.
The men, who operated a stand alongside other genuine businessmen, were caught offering the ‘service’ at the Robin Park Sports Centre in Wigan, where it was also discovered they were selling a number of illegally copied Xbox 360 and Wii games and a number of counterfeit DVD films.
The warrant for the raid, obtained and executed under the Trade Marks Act 1994, was carried out on the evening of 16th January at the Robin Park computer fair by officers of Greater Manchester Police and Wigan Trading Standards following investigative test purchases made by ELSPA’s (the Entertainment & Leisure Software Publishers Association) I.P. Crime Unit.
One of the two men arrested, who, like his partner-in-crime, cannot be named until further investigations have been carried out, was a resident of the West Midlands. Consequently Wolverhampton City Council Trading Standards Service, West Midlands Police and ELSPA investigators executed an entry warrant at his home in Dudley where it was discovered he was running a functioning chipping factory in his garage. Further documents found at the premises resulted in the execution of a further raid at a business premises in the Wolverhampton area on 17th January from where other counterfeiting equipment was seized.
The second arrested man was a resident of Leyland in Preston, Lancashire, and during the search of his house a substantial quantity of Wii and Xbox 360 games were recovered.
Michael Rawlinson, managing director of ELSPA said: “The raid at The Robin Park Sports Complex highlights the ongoing commitment demonstrated by local Trading Standards authorities in stamping this kind of operation out. ELSPA would like to thank everyone involved for their work instigating this investigation and helping to protect local traders and the general community from the effects of pirated goods.”
Julie Middlehurst, Wigan’s Chief Trading Standards Officer, added: “This operation shows that we will not tolerate anyone selling counterfeit goods in Wigan, and will take the appropriate action. Counterfeit good not only affect the people who produce the genuine goods but local businesses who sell them.
“We’d like to thank Robin Park Sports Centre for its co-operation. It has enabled us to remove any illegal activity from what is an otherwise thoroughly honest and well-respected event.”
Peter Calvert, Wolverhampton Trading Standards Service Manager, said: “The Wolverhampton part of this operation is part of a sustained effort to fight product counterfeiting in the City. Selling fake items is designed to dupe innocent consumers, harm the livelihoods of honest traders and line the pockets of the greedy”

AgentQ has released a new test version of ScummVM for DS. heres the release info:
This beta will be the final version, since the source has been tagged (which means no more changes are allowed). Still, it would be good to know if there are major problems with it.
This version contains the following changes since beta1:
- Possibly workaround for buggy DLDI drivers. If your card didn't save properly in previous builds, you should try this one!
- Fix for problems with the DS Options Menu in Elvira
- Fix for hover mode in Elvira/Waxworks
Please post if it works, or if it doesn't.

Capcom is going to tinker with Gamecube title Resident Evil Zero and release it on Wii.
The first snaps were found in Japanese magazine Famitsu (and spotted by Resident Evil Horror).
Zero, just like Resident Evil 4, will be given Wii remote controls and probably some extra story fluff.
However, it was a weaker instalment in the series than RE4 and, if given the same ham-fisted Wii controls, could be a less appealing package. Plus you can already play it on Wii using backwards compatibility.
If and when the new version does come out in Europe it will probably carry a cut-down price-tag like RE4, which was GBP 25. But if you hunt around you can find the original for much less.
Capcom Europe was unavailable for comment at the time of writing.

For days I've been searching for a decent file manager to use on my ds, but, my quest failed. So, I got my devkit, and started making mine!
It's not 100% complete yet, all it can do (for now) is explore the DS's MicroSD (or flash).
Note : For now I will not give you the source, only when the program is farther developed I will release it.
For those who want to know, I tried opening this program on moonshell and DSorganize, worked on DSorganize but not on moonshell.
here are some screenshots:
2147504185 2147504186
Enjoy!
P.S: There will be bugs, I tested this and all went well, worked on my TTDS without any DLDI patching (Because TTDS auto patches)

Description via Willi
Major scene breakthrough. Trucha Signer lets you remove, add or alter the information on the Wii disk and then re-sign it with a valid electronic signature that the Wii will accept. The author is now working on support for VC-game and Wii channel. This should be a easy way to get Linux on a DVD that the Wii will accept. However the bug that allow this is easy to spot, so do not update your Wii at the moment. (Should not be hard to avoid if you remove it from the Wii disks before inserting them into the Wii.)
Hmm im not so sure myself but it is another note of interest for the Wii Scene.

Ascot posted this release:
SNES9X 1.43 GX Edition
Please, keep source code when you made a change, this is an open source project.
All of you know how great is playing SNES games on Nintendo Gamecube, it's
awesome to play a lot of games that made us had a lot of fun in our childhood.
The version of this emulator was unupdated and almost forgotten, but (for me,
it's more) playable, and no body wanted to do something about it, so I decided
to make some changes to bring it to life.
*Bin file & source code are included in file.
Code:
Version 0.0.8 [20080222]
- Fixed displaying information about a ROM file.
- Added saving SRAM file in SD Card with CRC32 ROM data, no LFN format
(Must create snes9x\saves folders in your SD card, my mistake sorry).
- Menu in saving SRAM file changed to choose SLOT and DEVICE to Save/Load SRAM.

Do you have really, really, really long arms? Good. Because the Nyko Wireless Nunchuck is perfect for you. It's one of the many peripherals we tested with Nyko in San Francisco. Surprises were few and far between. But perhaps that's a good thing -- we found that everything they offered worked as one would expect. The Wireless Nunchuck works just like the official corded variety, It may work a bit too well, in fact. We left the Wii Remote in one room, and ran across the office to find the Nunchuck still operated. Unnecessary? Yes. But a great display of how well this peripheral is designed.

The worldwide interest in the Whole Wii Homebrew community over the last day in particular has been astounding and reminds me of the day when PSP Homebrew became a reality, yes its not easy via the Twilight Hack but you dont have to mod your console so thats a major bonus
The release of the Snes Emulator, the Wii MP3 Player, the Gamecube Dol to Elf Converter, Tetris and Wii Linux have topped off a very exciting time for homebrew fans from any scene.
