Nintendo has revealed its latest sales data in its scheduled quarterly earnings release. The data reports information as of September 30th, and brings the total sales amount of the Nintendo Switch to 68.3 million units sold. Previously, the Nintendo Switch surpassed the 61.91 million sales record of the Nintendo Entertainment System, and with this new data, we can see the system is on track to likely beat the sales of the Nintendo 3DS family of handhelds, which is sitting at 75.94 million systems sold.
In this report, Nintendo has also adjusted its predicted sales of Nintendo Switch consoles for the fiscal year, having originally forecasted 19 million units, increasing the total to 24 million units. The fiscal report also reveals previously unknown sales data for Super Mario 3D All Stars, which released during this period; the game managed to reach 5.21 million sales in a matter of 12 days. Additionally, Animal Crossing: New Horizons continues its streak, as it now sits at 26 million, the second best-selling Nintendo Switch game behind Mario Kart 8: Deluxe.

Nintendo has released its results for the first half of its fiscal year, showing a dramatic increase in profits.
For the six months ended September 30, net sales were reported at ¥769.5 billion ($7.4 billion) -- up 73% from the ¥444 billion ($4.3 billion) recorded during the same period last year.
Of this, overseas sales accounted for ¥596.4 billion ($5.7 billion) or 77.5% of the total.
The surge in sales contributed to a 209% year-on-year rise in operating profit, now at ¥291.4 billion ($2.8 billion), while ordinary profit is up 249% to ¥297.5 billion ($2.85 billion).
The platform holder did not attribute the growth to anything in particular, but it's a safe bet the pandemic and its impact on people's increased appetite for video games has been a major factor.
Following a successful start to its financial year, Nintendo has increased its forecasts for the 12 months ended March 31, 2020.
Net sales are now expected to reach ¥1.4 trillion ($13.4 billion), up from ¥1.2 trillion ($11.5 billion).
Operating profit estimates has been increased from ¥300 billion ($2.9 billion) to ¥450 billion ($4.3 billion), while ordinary profit has been raised from ¥290 billion ($2.8 billion) to ¥440 billion ($4.2 billion).
By comparison, net sales for the previous financial year were ¥1.3 trillion ($12.5 billion), with operation profit at ¥352.3 billion ($3.4 billion) and ordinary profit to ¥360.4 billion ($3.5 billion).
Hardware sales for the six-month period rose by 80.9% year-on-year to 12.53 million units, of which the primary model of the Nintendo Switch accounted for 8.36 million, with 4.17 million Switch Lite units sold.

It’s 2020 and we do get a brand new physical Wii game. Vblank Entertainment and the guys at Nintendo made this possible. If you are into games like GTA, you will love this one. Let’s read on…
Welcome to Shakedown: Hawaii, Vblank Entertainment‘s latest open world adventure. Build a “legitimate” corporation by completing open world missions, acquiring businesses, sabotaging competitors, “rezoning” land, and shaking down shops for protection money.
You are the CEO, and questionable subsidiaries, misleading ads, fine print, hidden service fees, and marketing spin are your tools of choice. Shakedown: Hawaii parodies big business, and the most absurd business practices that go alongside.
From the boardroom to the streets, build your corporate empire and destroy the competition.

The first attempt funding Where is my body? by Dana Puch did not work out. So here is the second attempt of a funding, which is actually already successful and there are another 6 days to go.
The type of game is very particular, an original idea from the graphic adventures of the early 90s. You have to find out the different types of mysteries and follow the thread of the story. Your mission is to find the body. Surely you have not seen many games of this type in Gameboy, and surely you will spend some very entertaining hours.

MegaZeux (or MZX) is a game creation system (GCS) initially released in late 1994 by Alexis Janson. MegaZeux is heavily inspired by Tim Sweeney's ZZT. Like ZZT, MZX was originally released as shareware and the world editor portion of the program was included for free, allowing third parties to create their own worlds without even registering.
MZX is officially supported on Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, Android, Nintendo DS, 3DS, Wii, Switch, and the PSP. Older ports exist for AmigaOS 4, GP2X, and Pandora. MZX has also been ported to other platforms such as OpenSolaris, HaikuOS, and the Sega Dreamcast.

BS Fire Emblem: Akaneia Saga was a game broadcast for Nintendo’s Satellaview peripheral. Players had one hour in order to defeat as many enemies as they could while fulfilling various objectives. Using the capabilities of the Satellaview’s Soundlink technology, voice acting could be streamed to players as the story unfolded. The game was divided into four episodes, each with different casts and goals to accomplish.
BS Fire Emblem was broadcast three times before vanishing into the mists of time. However, some enthusiasts managed to preserve the ROM data for each of the episodes. These did not contain the entirety of the original broadcasts; most notably, the opening illustrations and voice acting were missing. The gameplay itself was completely intact - only the presentation was affected.
Darrman, a Fire Emblem ROM hacker, was curious about BS Fire Emblem. He had worked on translating a hack of Mystery of the Emblem prior and noticed the two games were very similar. After he read up on how to calculate Satellaview checksums, the translation effort began. Work progressed rapidly as the majority of text could simply be reused from the previous hack translation.
And so, BS Fire Emblem: Akaneia Saga, the long-overlooked Fire Emblem Satellaview spinoff, has been translated. With this, every single entry of the Fire Emblem series can be played from start to finish in the English language.

Brazilian and Portuguese RPG fans: Final Fantasy III for the NES/Famicom has finally been translated to Portuguese by TeacherGus.
The IPS file is now on version 1.15, and all the story, dialogues, battle menus, system menus, and overall texts have been translated, providing a fully-playable experience. Some aspects haven’t been translated, such as items, locations or magic - that is due to the overall preference of Portuguese-speaking players in playing RPGs with “standard” names in English for all items, skills and locations.
Also, accents and diacritics have been adapted into phonetic forms and will be changed to their proper characters in a future update.
Major thanks to NaittoDragneel for the motivation and Chaos Rush for his support and the OnionText tool. Enjoy!

The English translation of the menu software for the Nintendo GB Memory flash cartridge is released! This patch translates all Japanese text into English, with the exception of the stylized “News” ticker at the bottom.
Available in Japan from March 2000 to Sept 2001, the GB Memory cartridge was an official Nintendo product that could be flashed with multiple games at kiosks available in department stores.
Hacker orangeglo has been working with the GB Memory Multi Menu ROM for some time, creating a website (GBNP) that allows users to build a new menu ROM with the games they desire.

Journey through the mysterious world of Laputa in this hack and help Pazu to rescue Sheeta and the pirates from the evil hands of Muska. Based on the incredible animated movie by Studio Ghibli, Castle in the Sky, this hack takes place entirely on the floating castle itself. You can run through the castle gardens, its walls, its massive forest, and the weaponized underbelly itself to defeat all of Muska’s minions and save your friends.
Almost every graphic has been changed to fit the Castle in the Sky aesthetic and incorporate its wide array of varied enemies. The most current version is V1.2, which fixes some graphical oversights of the previous versions and is, for now, the final and definitive version in regards to graphics.
Be on the lookout for some more hacking action in the future though! Who said Pazu ever had to journey alone? Maybe a friend can join in on the action and they can work together Co-Operatively to help save Laputa……

Moreover, Dark Knight Cecil has also been added as a playable character at the end! On top of these, this update also includes a VERY CHALLENGING Boss Rush mode that can be unlocked for those that are up for the task! Other new additions include Magically Imbued Weapons, New and Upgradable Commands, Status ‘Aura’ during battle, Damage Limit increased to 14999, and much much more! And naturally, new weapons, spells, bosses and items have also been added to this update. Once again, huge thanks chillyfeez and the FF4 romhacking community for their magic on some of the amazing features added to this version. Barring bugfixes and other minor adjustments, this version should be VERY close to this hack’s final iteration.
Hope you’ll all give it a whirl and enjoy the hack tremendously!!

In 2002 Super Mario Kart - The Impala Battles was released. Back then it was the first Super Mario Kart mod to be released on Romhacking.net
It was the time long before Epic Edit saw the light of day, so editing Mario Kart was still a slow and difficult process. The limitations at the time caused some issues in The Impala Battles that couldn’t be solved.
Almost 18 years after the release of The Impala Battles, v1.1 finally fixes all the issues players had with the original mod. You can see this new version as a small appetizer to the release of Super Mario Kart - Epic Racers, which is nearing a finished state.
Until that release, please enjoy the classic Impala Battles once again with your friends!

The “family-friendly” alternative to Googie’s amazing original hack (Super Wario Bros. 3) is finally here! This addendum replaces all of Googie’s text changes with some different phrases that can appeal to a younger audience as well as a general one.
The idea first came from watching Blue Television Game’s (BTG) playthrough of it a few years ago and the desire to make a version that could appeal to his regular audience. Hope you guys find this helpful and a worthwhile redownload or replay!
