Heres a new Savegame release for the Nintendo Switch:
Full changelog 1.3.3
Savefiles encoded in UTF-8 and UTF-16 can now get parsed by the editor
Implemented multithreading so animations look a lot smoother now!
If some animations are too fast, please tell me
Since the devkit recently fixed exceptions, EdiZon isn't crashing anymore when loading a faulty config file.
Also added a message which gets displayed in this case
Full changelog 1.3.2
Fully fixed that extra byte being added to binary save files. I'm so stupid...
Categories are scrollable now! No more categories going off-screen
Added a "Checking for updates" dialog when pressing - , so the switch doesn't just freeze up
The position of the cursor in the title select screen now remembers its position when entering and exiting the editor
Save files you can edit now display in the correct order once again
Button icons are drawn a bit higher up now
DEVELOPERS ONLY: People who want to debug EdiZon or the Editor Scripts but don't want to connect their Switch to a WiFi network can now create a file called EdiZon.log inside their /EdiZon folder. This will redirect all STDOUT and STDERR to that log file.
Updated all configs and scripts to the latest version
Full changelog 1.3.1
Fixed the bug that an extra zero byte gets added at the end of a binary save file
Backed up save files are now displayed in reverse order which makes them display from latest to oldest.
Fixed regex file paths only showing exactly one save file, even if there are multiples.
Updated all configs and scripts to the latest version
Full changelog 1.3
Added automatic update feature for configs, scripts and EdiZon. Just press the - button in the title select screen.
Added Regex capability to save file paths.
Added possibility to get a string representation of a save file in the scripts.
This shortens the load time of e.g big json save files from 5 seconds to < 0.5 seconds.
Added a hint text to the title select screen
Fixed LOTS of issues with the save editor crashing the switch or not displaying items correctly.
Stability intensifies!
Many small bug fixes and performance improvements.
I can't remember all of them anymore.
EdiZon's better now. Trust me.

Here's yet another look at how well the Switch is doing. After approx. 16 months, PS4 had sold 20.2 million units worldwide. As for Switch, the system has sold 19.67 million units in approx. 15 months. The PS4 did this with 2 holiday seasons, while Switch has gone through 1.
In the meantime, check out the official Nintendo PR info in the links below, afterwards we love to hear your comments on the sales data released. The Nintendo Switch continues to be a hit, as Nintendo shifted 1.88 million units in the most recent financial quarter. This now brings the total lifetime to date sales for the console to 19.67 million. It's a strong performance, but at the same time, it doesn't close in on what the Switch sold in previous financial quarters: 2.93m and 7.23m respectively. This can be attributed to a slightly weaker 2018 lineup, as compared to the past. We can also see that Nintendo is on track for their predictions they made in April, where they wanted to hit 20 million Nintendo Switch consoles sold before March 2019. Such a goal will likely be quickly eclipsed, with major holiday titles like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Pokemon Let's Go on the way.
Beyond this, we also get an updated look at software sales for the Switch. Super Mario Odyssey sold 0.76 million units this quarter, bringing it to 11.17 million total sales, and is has the highest LTD sales on the system. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was at 1.13 million sold, and 10.35m total. The best-selling games were the new entries--Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze and Mario Tennis Aces, at 1.40m and 1.38m respectively. ARMS and 1-2 Switch performed badly, both at 0.16m sold during the quarter. The worst sold game was Xenoblade Chronicles 2 , which only shifted 0.11m copies, though it sits at 1.42m LTD sales.

The main difference from NXLoader is the ability to quickly change the payloads you need by preloading them. You can choose any needed payload once the USB cable connected to your Switch. Usage

- Find a cable to connect your device to the Nintendo Switch. For proper work, this should be a cable that is designed for data transmission, not just for charging. It is advisable to use an A-to-C cable and an USB OTG adapter.
- In the "Payloads" category, click the "+" button to select preloaded payload from your device's storage. Or simply transfer your payload to the Rekado folder in the device's memory. Or you can use the default payload (SX OS)
- Enter your Nintendo Switch into RCM mode in any convenient way. Your Nintendo Switch will power on by itself when plugged in, be sure to hold VOLUME +
- Connect the device to the Nintendo Switch and allow permission for the USB access if necessary. Wait until the program prompts you to select what do you want to inject, payload or Lakka. - Wait for payload to finish loading on your console.

New from Wiimpathy:
Beebem Wii
Introduction
Beebem Wii is a port of Beebem gp2x(0.6-1), a BBC micro emulator. It's a computer by Acorn Computers released in the 1980s.
LOADING GAMES
If you load Beebem from the Homebrew channel as a standalone homebrew, the default softwares folder is /apps/beebem/discs. Copy your .ssd or .dsd games in this folder.
To load a program, open the main menu, chose 'Run new game', and select the file. It will try to start the file automatically. By default, some Wii controllers buttons are mapped to BBC keys. You may need to reconfigure the buttons per game. Go to 'Configure game buttons', change the keys and select 'Save game configuration'. The configuration file will be saved in /apps/beebem/kbd. A virtual keyboard is also available in-game.
CONTROLS
Wiimote:
A : Confirm
B : Back
+ : Open virtual keyboard
Home : Open main menu
Classic controller:
A : Confirm
B : Back
+ : Open virtual keyboard
Home : Open main menu
GameCube controller:
A : Confirm
B : Back
R : Open virtual keyboard
Start : Open main menu
GAME OPTIONS
Here are the available settings in the 'Configure game options' :
Audio
Audio latency : When enabled, the sound is better. It's particularly useful for music since it drops less samples, but it adds a delay and sound effects loses sync.
Video
Top/Centered/Bottom/Scaled : It's scaled by default, it's the only option to show the whole screen by removing some lines. The BBC is 320256 and here we're at 320240.
Use 240p mode : Enable double strike mode for low resolution display.
Enable Bilinear filter : Toggle filter between sharp or smooth pixels.
Nudge CRT (useful for FireTrack/Castle Quest etc) : This shifts the display vertically.
Floppy drives
floppy 0/1 R/W : Enable floppies read/write access.
PLUGIN
Beebem can be used as a plugin in WiiFlow or any compatible plugins loader. You'll find the necessary files in WiiFlow/plugins. By default, the plugin looks for the games in a /roms/BBC folder that you'll need to create. Edit bbc.ini file if you want a different path (romdir).
NOTES
One extra button (Wiimote -/GC Z) can also be configured, but is not accessible in the menu. You have to edit the mapping files (.kbd) manually. Change this P1_MINUS value per game or globally in /apps/beebem/config/default.kbd.
Another option you can edit is DISABLE_CURSOR. Change value to YES to hide the cursor(not tested!).
All credits go to the original beebem authors. Dedicated to 'the Wii scene is dead' people. It's 2018 and there are still updates for Genesis Plus GX, Snes9x GX, USB loader GX, WiiFlow Lite etc. And there's a new homebrew game called Newo Asteroids too.

The Nintendo Switch news keeps on coming:
"My Idea was to make a way of listing all my XCI files and show their info without need to open file by file. I'm a newbie on C# so the code is not beauty." - u/gibajr
NotMii said: To be fair, I'm a noob too. My C#/coding skills are sub-par. Any help would be appreciated!
Since his release, I've added a couple of things in my fork: - Batch trimming
- Batch file renaming (only use if you're too lazy to rename them to something coherent)
- Display file names instead of path
- Misc. bug fixes
As always, I haven't extensively tested this release. I'm curious how long it takes to batch trim/rename 200 files, but I don't have the time or bandwidth to test that. If you find a bug or something isn't working right, submit an issue on GitHub or reply here!

Catching up on releases, heres another Switch release:
Application doesn't require Root on your device. SX Loader payload bundled as default.
Menos said: The main difference from NXLoader is the ability to quickly change the payloads you need by preloading them. You can choose any needed payload once the USB cable connected to your Switch. If you will find any issues feel free to report it. Or maybe you have some good ideas, you can also tell me about them. I am open any kind of pull requests (especially for new languages support).
Usage- Launch application
Wait until the program prompts you to select payload and choose the one you need
- Wait for payload to finish loading on your console
FAQ
- Q: Does application require Root?
A: Application doesn't require Root on your device.
- Q: Can it brick my device/console?
A: This should not happen when using the "correct" loaders. But I am not responsible for possible problems.
- Q: Will Recado ever run Linux?
A: In the near future, this is definitely not to be expected. Maybe in the future.
Thanks

Not a release i would use but each to their own:
CDNSP is a Python3 CDN downloader. It needs the requests library (pip install request). tqdm (pip install tqdm) is optional and will make your progress bars look better. Maybe some more, I'm not sure.
rkk said: What it can do: - Print useful info about a titleid (name, available updates)
- Download games, updates, DLC's and even system update, in their entirety (that means all the available content, logo, legal info, ...) is downloaded
- Batch download everything explicited further up
- Resume downloads right were you left them at
- Repack games, DLC's, updates as ready-for-install NSP's
What it does:
- Download and extract the CNMT (content metadata) NCA, and parse it to find the other content to download
- If you want to repack your download as NSP, it will generate a CNMT.XML file
- Generate the TIK and CERT:
- for private content the CERT (non console nor game-unique) will be copied and renamed appropriately. The TIK will be generated using a blanked out file taken from BBB's Yooka-Laylee dump, and plug in the titlekey and titleid. To generate the TIK for private content, the titlekey is REQUIRED
- for public content, it will directly download the CETK from Nintendo's servers, and extract the TIK and CERT.
- Download everything else
- And finally, repack everything to an NSP
To get started, you need:
- hactool, and its keys
- A console-unique certificate, in PEM format (I have included a PFX to PEM converter script, simply drag your PFX over it)
- The ShopN certificate, in PEM format (this one is included in the zip)
- Edit your config in the CDNSPconfig.json
Cheers! To get you started, I have also included a small list of 859 TitleID's.
Due to nature of this release, and fact it needs keys, and certs, and will get your console banned, there is no links, use 'google'.

Heres a release for Switch Hackers:
This neat script was released by @rkk on Sunday, at the time it was basically useless, but now with the nice update by Xecuter with their SX v1.3 you can now make better usage of packaging up your items as 'NSP' containers and installing them via the devmenu.
rkk said: A .nsp (pfs0) is a simple file: a header that describes the files it contains, with said files appended to it, in plaintext.
.nsp is the Switch format for installables, similar to what .cia was to the 3ds.
However installing them is currently impossible, and would require signature patching.
This scripts generates nsp files from whatever you tell it to. Anything goes, as long as it is a file. Even empty ones.
To use it, simply drag the files you wish to repack over the script, then enter a name for your nsp.
Alternatively, use the command prompt and do: nspBuild.py file1 file2...
If you want to see the result, use hactool (or nstools): hactool -t pfs0 path/to/nsp (--outdir=path/to/directory).
No key is required, as the .nsp isn't encrypted.

It seems that Nintendo are getting pissy against sites offering roms of their Systems, heres the news:
The sites are among the most notorious online hubs for pirated games, according to Nintendo, and face millions of dollars in potential damages. With the launch of NES Classic Games on their Nintendo Switch coming up soon in September, it means we are in for another wave of crackdowns by big 'N' over any site that offers Emulators or Retro ROMs for playing Nintendo games on other platforms. This week, Nintendo took two of these sites to court. In a complaint filed at a federal court in Arizona, the game publisher sues LoveROMS.com and LoveRETRO.co for copyright and trademark infringement.
Both sites are believed to be operated by Jacob Mathias and his Arizona company Mathias Designs LLC. They offer access to a wide variety of ROMs, including many Nintendo games.
“The LoveROMs and LoveRETRO websites are among the most open and notorious online hubs for pirated video games,” Nintendo writes in the complaint.
“Through the LoveROMs and LoveRETRO websites, Defendants reproduce, distribute, publicly perform and display a staggering number of unauthorized copies of Nintendo’s video games, all without Nintendo’s permission.”
In addition to the copyrighted games, the sites also distribute proprietary BIOS software, while using trademarked logos and characters, Nintendo notes.
While some ROMs sites may be hobby projects, Nintendo sees these two sites as professional operations that profit from its works.
“Defendants are not casual gamers but are instead sophisticated parties with extensive knowledge of Nintendo’s intellectual property and the video game industry more generally,” the company notes.
Through the lawsuit, which also lists a count of unfair competition, Nintendo hopes to shut both sites down. The company requests statutory damages of $150,000 per infringing Nintendo game and up to $2,000,000 for each trademark infringement.
This means that, with more than 140 copyrighted titles and 40 trademarks on the record, theoretical damages could go up to a staggering $100 million.
Nintendo further requests a permanent injunction ordering the sites to stop their infringing activities while handing over domain names to the game publisher. At the same time, Nintendo wants the operator of the sites to reveal the sources for the infringing ROMs.
As noted above, Nintendo is demanding a list of all 'uploaders' that filled up the site with these nasty illegal backup ROMs, so if you were nice sharing member, get ready to receive a letter if the site's owner caves into all the pressure from the lawyers, but so far he still fighting and operating the sites.

News of a WIP Custom Firmware for the Nintendo Switch:
It does not much yet, but @Reisyukaku has finally released to the public her 'modular custom firmware' called 'ReiNX' on a GITHub page. What is ReiNX?: Its a modular custom firmware for the Nintendo Switch that uses 'smart' patching for future proofing and just works™
Features:- Loads all KIPs from /ReiNX/sysmodules/ directory
- Optional custom kernel/secmon/warmboot
- Default kips with exefs redir from /ReiNX/title/{tid}
Future plans: I want to maintain the modularity of the codebase and focus on custom sysmodules.
Credits: See github page.
FAQ:
- Q: Is your code political?
A: No. My code isn't sentient enough to understand politics. But considering it runs on anyone's switch, I can assume it's at least not a bigot.

The Nintendo Switch is getting the perfect addition to play Super Smas Bros:
As you all know by now, Super Smash Bros. is coming to the Nintendo Switch, but what kind of fun is playing it on those tiny little 'Joy-Con's, well don't worry by button smashing happy, as the GameCube controller is coming back along with a nice 10 foot wired cable! PDP has a GameCube-themed controller coming just in time for the arrival of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in December, which honors the game’s heritage and three mainstays of Nintendo’s ensemble fighting game.
The wired controller comes in three designs — Pikachu, Link and Mario. The best part is the controller’s C-stick is swappable, meaning players can have a full throwback experience with the original C-stick shape and design or an updated, full size twin-analog stick control scheme.
Each design will have center badge reflecting its character’s theme. The controller is wired by a 10-foot USB cable that “ensures you stay connected during crucial moments and ... gives you plenty of room to get comfortable.”
PDP did not give a specific release date for this controller, advising that fans simply check back for its availability. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate launches for Nintendo Switch on Dec. 7.

The Nintendo Switch Hacking Carries On:
Team Rebug has been overwhelmed with the support they have been getting for the pre-order launch of their SwitchMe internal dev board, as such they have just recently announced plans on their Twitter for an upcoming SwitchMe external dongle, which they are calling an Xecuter SX PRO on steroids. So we decided to make a dongle as well, but with a battery and some break out pads for future development. This way you wont have a problem needing to recharge your injector ever few days or caps going bad making your tx sx dongle useless
Pre-Launch Product Features:- Male usb C, female micro usb on the bottom, and a cr2032 coin cell on the bottom.
- 3d print one, because tooling a case takes too much time and you need a huge order to even make it worth while.
- Coretex m0+
- Battery
- On/Off switch
- 2 USB ports
- Easy drag and drop payload flashing
@evilsperm is saying they are about a month away from launching the 'dongle' version, but so far its looking great, and with the massive support and quality they are putting into the internal version that will be landing with resellers in few weeks, we can't wait to see how amazing their dongle version will be, plus they are saying it will be 'cost priced' affordable like their internal dev board is.

Been a while becuase of real life issues but we are back with some Switch news:
Last we heard from TX they were searching for Switch'es that have been patched by Nintendo in the factory, and they have just announced today that support for these so-called "unhackable switch'es" will be coming in due time from the developers at Xecuter, so stay tuned for more news regarding this amazing development in the near future, in the meantime, read their official announcement below regarding the IPATCH changes as they slowly work on getting to the bottom of it, and finish working on releasing complete SX PRO and SX OS support in due time! Dear fans, we hope you're all enjoying your weekend!
Recently, it has come to our attention there's a new revision of the Nintendo Switch in the wild which is incompatible with our SX Pro product. This isn't simply an incompatibility with SX Pro but rather appeared to be a fix of the infamous "USB RCM" exploit.
Naturally, we had to locate one of these new Switch units to get to the bottom of this. Our new Switch unit arrived to us at firmware version 5.1.0 and what we found out is the following (sorry, time to get a bit technical):
One of the IPATCH entries in the fuse set (entry #3) has been replaced with a new patch. The old patch patches the bootrom location 0x10fb3c with the value "00 20" (mov r0, #0 in thumb), and the new patch patches the bootrom location 0x10769a with the value "00 21" (mov r1, #0 in thumb). This new patch effectively zeroes out the upper-byte of the wLength field in the USB RCM endpoint 0 handling code.
Those who are paying attention probably wonder how we know the exact details of this IPATCH entry change, since we can't read out the fuses without our precious USB RCM exploit, right? It is a classic chicken and egg problem.
The answer is obvious: There is more than one coldboot bootrom exploit, and it is not just the warmboot one.
So don't fear: we will deliver a solution for these new "unhackable" switches in due time!
Thank you for attention.

If your smartphone of choice has forced you to upgrade to wireless headphones, you probably hate having to swap them out for a corded pair when you want to play your Nintendo Switch with a little privacy. The portable console doesn’t come with Bluetooth, but a tiny dongle called the Genki does, theoretically making it easy to upgrade your Switch so it plays nice with your wireless headphones.
The Genki plugs directly into the Switch’s USB-C port, where it should have direct access to a digital stream of your game’s audio. As a result, there should be less lag than when using a Bluetooth adapter plugged into the Switch’s headphone jack, which requires digital-to-analog and then analog-to-digital conversions as extra intermediate steps. The Genki also draws all the power it needs while connected, so you’d never need to charge it separately.
The makers of the Genki claim it actually allows two sets of wireless headphones to be connected at the same time, so you can head-to-head game with your seat mate on your next flight without disturbing other passengers. And because the USB-C port is used when the Switch is docked, the company also claims the Genki works with a USB adapter so it can be plugged in to the old-school USB port on the back of the Switch’s dock.
The creators of the Genki have gone the crowdfunding route to help put the dongle into production, with a $30,000 Kickstarter campaign that’s already raised over $300,000. But that is in no way a guarantee that the Genki will make it into backer’s hands without any hiccups or delays once it moves towards manufacturing. If you’re willing to take the risk, a pledge of $39 gets you just the Genki dongle, or for $10 more you can get it with a USB-C adapter so that it works while the Switch is docked. It’s certainly not the cheapest Switch accessory out there, but if you spend all day long with AirPods jammed in your ears, the cost of upgrade might be well worth it.

A poll conducted by Nintendo-dedicated site Nintendo Life has found that 20 percent of over 1000 users polled had seen their Nintendo Switch develop cracks in its plastic around the fan exhaust – and Nintendo repair costs aren’t exactly cheap.
Nintendo Life decided to conduct the poll after members of their staff experienced the issue of cracks emerging in the Switch around the machine’s fan exhaust. The cracks emerge as tiny hair-line cracks, and the site speculates that it’s due to the heat the Switch kicks out from this port, the primary ventilation area on Switch hardware. You can see some of the cracks in the photo below, snapped by Nintendo Life’s editor.
This story also caught our eye on VG247, as a few of us have also experienced cracking in this exact same place on our Switch consoles. I’d honestly chalked the cracking around my exhaust grill down to natural wear and tear, but the sheer number of reports and photographs of practically identical cracks on other machines now has us pondering if in fact there’s something more to it, and if the plastic used on the Switch just simply isn’t up to the task of handling the heat kicked out by the machine when it’s running heftier games.
What’s worse for fans is that if this issue occurs Nintendo appears to regard it as accidental damage, with readers of Nintendo Life showing the site correspondence with Nintendo support where they make clear the company considers the issuer the result of accidental damage and thus not covered under the standard warranty. As a result Nintendo UK are charging anywhere between £150 and £180 to repair the issue – a good two thirds of the price of the Switch itself. Ouch.
“After checking in with the European team we can confirm that we haven’t received a notable number of consumer inquiries on this topic,” Nintendo said to Nintendo Life in a statement. The results of Nintendo Life’s poll and the sheer number of photos sent to them of near-identical cracks suggests at least a design weakness if not an outright fault, however.
The Nintendo DS Lite suffered a similar cracking plastic issue around the hinge, but back then Nintendo would replace machines impacted by that issue at no cost. Has your Switch developed any of these cracks or problems? Let us know in the comments below.
