While we in Europe wait patiently for our pink and blue DS release, timed to coincide with Nintendogs' debut here on October 7, news of another Nintendo handheld bundle is filtering in over yonder US way.
It seems our lucky American comrades are set to see a fancy red DS plop down in stores as part of a bundle deal featuring the upcoming Mario Kart DS on November 14. It's the same version of the handheld that shot out of Nintendo's palpitating manufacturing womb at the launch of Jump Superstars in Japan earlier this year and the Mario Kart bundle is due to retail at 149.99 USD.
There's no word on whether we'll be seeing the red DS in bundle form or otherwise over here, but given that most US DS announcements of late have wriggled their way to Europe pretty swiftly - that price slash and Nintendogs bundle, for instance - it wouldn't surprise us to see a similar deal in our stores eventually.

I was considering buying a SuperPassKey and flash cart adapter for my system, but on some FAQs it states that PassKeys are incompatible with DS's with serial numbers starting with a number higher than 12. Is this the case with all passkey type setups (like the Magic Key series) due to a strictly hardware-based incompatibility issue, or are there software and firmware upgrades that deal with this?
Any help would be appreciated.

I recently read that the SuperPassKey only works with DSs that have a serial number that starts with numbers <= 12. My serial is "NU41089*** [2]" does that mean it starts with a 4 or a 41? If SuperPassKey doesn't work with my DS, what will?

I recently bought a super card, a CF card, and a superpass in the hope that I could put monkey island on it, but I can't seem to figure out how, can somebody give me a 'for dummies' guide on how to get it working?
Thanx in advance!

Tosh-ds has updated his Choplifter game for the Nintendo DS:
Got the collision detection pretty much down now. Atleast when it comes to the soldiers, and basic chopper movement. Might have to work a bit more on collision response though.
Added basic logic to the soldiers, so they'll both find the chopper, and bases. And get out of the chopper when it lands on a platform near a base. Check out the new demo!

AlexB123 did a review of Nintendogs a while ago heres more info:
Put a puppy inside your Nintendo DS! In this game choose from Chihuahua, German Shepherd, Boxer, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Yorkshire Terrier or Shetland Sheepdog. Described as a "puppy simulator", this innovative new title gives you a small amount of money to purchase your own puppy...and from there, the sky's the limit! Using the Nintendo DS's built-in microphone, you can name your dog, and then teach him tricks! Nintendogs also makes heavy use of the DS Touch Screen. Use the stylus to pet your dog, rub him on the belly, or touch his nose! But be careful: different dog breeds have different personalities, and not all like to be treated the same way.

Heres an excerpt from the review:
At the beginning you get to pick from a few dogs. There are 5 on the cart. After you do that, you choose if you want a boy or a girl. Yet again after that you get to pick how it looks. (Limited choices.)
Once you get that out of the way you can begin "playing" with your dog by petting it and things like that. Soon a little bulb popped up and I was told to name him. I named the guy "Spud". It took the DS quite a few times to recognize my voice. Let me give you a hint. DO NOT have the TV on while playing this as it will throw the voice rec out of whack.

I can't seem to run any application over 150kb on the GBAMP. Yes, I have got the firmware update, but now all that has done is it has removed the 'This application is too big to run' message and bypassed it, not actually letting you play the files correctly. I get a white screen whenever I try to run a 150kb+ application.
Goomba and NesAdvance have been rather good, as I can run .nes and .gb files over 150kb flawlessly through those programs, but when using the GBAMP explorer I get the white screen problem.
Any help or explanation would be appreciated.
