New DS Game released

In this action/adventure game, you are a sneak who is trying to evade the police. By drawing images on the DS touch screen, you can make the tricky Ruso change his face and hide in the background. Draw a picture of a girl to throw off the cops when in a crowd, or quickly sketch what's on a nearby wall to blend in with the background.

There you go, dualSwan 1.2 released. Still no sound, and some games are below 20FPS, but the re-write was worth it! Why? Because now some games are running in full speed and even passes it (200FPS baby!).
dualSwan will work only with CF/SD based flashcarts, and will load any WonderSwan ROM that is smaller then 4MB (Need to write dynamic bank loading…).
The SPU isn’t yet emulated - this means there is no sound. Sources are released too. You are free to modify and re-release your own version (Something like unofficial Goomba) but please don’t claim it yours.
I was working hard on this emulator to make it what it is now, even if it’s not perfect yet.
I’d appreciate any positive comments, as well as Donations and clicks on the site’s ads.

Ryan FB has updated his Genesis Emulator for the Nintendo DS:
PicoDriveDS 0.1.3 is up! Changes:
Added long filename support
Added support for going up a directory by pressing B
Added support for skipping ahead/back 5 files at a time with R/L
Added automatic save/load SRAM support
Files are the same place as before or you can use the handy new release directories to be sure.
The SRAM feature is not the same thing as savestates. Basically it emulates a Genesis cart's internal Save RAM, and whenever the SRAM is written to it writes out (romname).srm. When you load a game, it looks to see if that SRAM file is there and loads it if so.

Via DS Fanboy:
Japan International Flights (JAL) recently announced a promotion where in-flight-modified DS Lites would be available for use to passengers who choose to fly with the company during the period of June 1st - August 31st of this year. Only 4 games are available at the moment, such as Mario Kart DS and DS Golf.
Now, I'm no scientist, but I'm pretty sure that us Americans fly more than anyone else. So why not introduce this kind of promotion over here in the states? Imagine Business Class travelers being handed a DS Lite with Brain Age upon taking their seat! Isn't that the type of person that Nintendo is trying to get the DS into the hands of?

I just received this picture, and I am not sure where it is from yet…but I will update the story once I hear back. I just talked with the guys at GameStop today, and they are not taking reserves on the Wii yet, and won’t be for quite some time. That is how it looks as of right now anyway. Any of you have an idea where this is?!

News from Gamespot
The DS Lite has finally launched in North America, and some retailers opened their doors at midnight Saturday night--the very earliest that stores could legally sell the handheld. The DS Lite is a new spin on the original DS, which was released in late 2004. Smaller, lighter, and including a brighter screen, the Lite is available in the Polar White model for $129.99
That is, if you can find one. The launch of the DS Lite is yet another example of new gaming systems selling out on day one in metropolitan areas. The major online retailers, including GameStop.com, EBgames.com, BestBuy.com, and Amazon.com (by way of GameStop.com), are currently all sold out (as of press time), as are several brick-and-mortar stores.
Availability of the unit doesn't seem to be as bad in the US as it was in Japan. Gamers determined to pick up a DS Lite today can probably do so, providing they don't mind driving an hour or two.

Gary Linscott has ported Snezziboy the Snes emulator for the GBA over to the Nintendo DS, heres the release info:
Originally coded by bubble2k, I only ported to the DS and made a few DS related fixes.
Only flashcarts are supported currently
The port is currently extremely bare bones, but screen scaling has been adjusted to the DS resolution and you can use the X/Y buttons in game. Sound support is currently disabled because it's incredibly buggy, but the source is there if someone wants to try fixing it .
Instructions: Run "snezzi.exe snesrom.sfc" and the flash the generated file to your flashcard.
