I'm confused, but happy to see this Civic's Corolla's engine block get a cover that looks like a NES controller. When this baby redlines, it sounds like me mashing buttons in bionic commando. Hello! Just build the turbo function INTO THE GAME. Prediction: The urge to punch down on running temperature A,B, and cross pad buttons during an oil change could lead to some pretty bad blistering. Recommendation: Sawzall the hood and give NESTER some breathing room!

We know, there's only so much you can do to a foam donut to make it, well, more than a foam donut, but Brando's trying its best to one-up the competition by adding in a stand. With Mario Kart Wii launching in under a fortnight (in the US, at least), the Wii Multi-Axis Racing System is vying for those hard-earned dollars by giving racers the ability to grip something stuck to an immobile surface rather than just flailing around with some sort of lightweight Wiimote-engulfing circle. And at just $18, it even gives the first-party Wii Wheel some serious competition. Okay, so maybe "serious" is an overstatement.

Here's graphDS v0.6. I added a cursor to the homescreen for easier input, more functions for the catalog, some syntax checking, a catalog for graphing, and changed the font. I also fixed the absolute value function and some bugs with graphing.

New version of the Game Boy and Game Boy Color emulator for the Nintendo DS.
Information:
This release has very short change log and does not address many of the problems pointed out in last post comments. I have managed to fix annoying SGB multi player games input problem though. Apart from this the only difference to 0.10 is emulation speed. Both video render and CPU interpreter were heavily optimized. Sadly some games still won’t do 60fps.
Since majority of the code base was touched in process of optimization there can be some regression in compatibility.
Change log:
- changed: optimized software renderer
- changed: optimized cpu core
- fixed: multiplayer pad reading in SGB games (Battle Arena Toshinden and others)

Nintendo's biggest non-traditional game yet Wii Fit is in UK shops next Friday, but creative mastermind Shigeru Miyamoto promises the company is still working on "the kinds of products we've always made" for the more traditional, analogue stick-twirling gamer (us!).
"As a designer, I'm always focusing on what is fun," he told site 1UP. "Ideas that people can enjoy.
"For me, I'm trying to entertain as many people as I can, creating games that the widest number of people can enjoy. Of course, that being said, we do have the existing teams at Nintendo working on the kinds of products we've always made over the years.
"The Zelda team is forming again to work on new games! But to me, it's about finding these new interactive experiences and bringing them to people."
Miyamoto also settles the WiiFit debate, saying, "yes, in my mind, I would say it is a video game." There you are then.

Atlus has confirmed that Izuna 2: The Unemployed Ninja Returns is coming to Western shores on July 22.
"Starring everyone's favourite careless, jobless, and penniless female protagonist with a love for dungeon crawls," it says here. Strange that, as we've never heard of her.
The game combines "zany" characters and "hilarious" dialogue with "hardcore" dungeon gameplay. And according to Atlus, "Also, the lead character's a sexy, self-absorbed ninja."
From the looks of things, we expect it to be a rogue-like dungeon crawler with a cute anime styled protagonist. It's hardly breaking the mould, but might be entertaining if the claim of genuinely hilarious dialogue actually pans out.
Sadly, there's no chance of you seeing a hot, unemployed ninja girl down the dole office any time soon, as the game hasn't got a European release date - it's only confirmed for America at the moment.

Nintendo has just Phantasy Star III: Generations of Doom to offer you on the Virtual Console this week.
It's the third part in the role-playing series, and was originally released on Megadrive back in 1991.
The action in Generations of Doom interestingly takes place over several eras and the game changes depending on who you marry.
But those Phantasy Star fans, they like to forget this one because it has flimsy characters, magic, and combat when compared to the other four games in the series.
Megadrive games cost 800 Points, which is GBP 6 / EUR 8 (approx) in real money.
Look out for our thoughts on this soon.

Capcom Japan announced today a final Japanese release date for Biohazard 0, also known as the GameCube to Wii port of Resident Evil 0 that may or may not see international release.
In Japan, the game will hit retail on July 10. Capcom is pricing it at 4,190 yen, making it 1/3 less than most new Wii titles.
From what's been made public so far, it looks like this is a pretty bare-bones port, so the pricing may be appropriate.

D2C Games has lifted the lid on their WiiWare game, SPOGS Racing.
It sounds weird, and it is; little balls in big tyres race around courses doing loop-the-loops while smashing into each other and stealing weapons and upgrades on the fly.
The balls inside the tyres have eerie cartoon faces and your little vehicle can be modified with other images and parts.
D2C has a few game modes to try and keep you interested, such as stunt courses and head-to-head multiplayer, as well as guff like power-ups, weapons, and its Crash N Grab steal-stuff-as-you-go system.
There's no word on the price or date, but you can look at it in our SPOGS Racing gallery.
WiiWare, or Wii Software as we know it, is yet to be given a release date in Europe.
However, the Live Arcade-like service is due out on 12th May in the US, and Nintendo invited us along to see what was on offer earlier this week.
Pop over to our WiiWare impressions to see what we thought.

TellTale Games (Sam & Max) has just released six new screenshots from its episodic Wii Software (WiiWare) game StrongBad's Cool Game for Attractive People.
Based on a 'popular' internet comic we've never heard of, SBCG4AP will arrive on Wii in June (though probably not in Europe, as there's no date for Wii Software's launch here yet). TellTale will release five episodes monthly, finishing up season one in October.

Developer High Voltage has attacked the mentality of developers making games for Wii, claiming most end products "don't even look as good as the latter day PS2 titles".
The comments came after High Voltage whipped the wrappers off its Wii project The Conduit - a first-person shooter boasting to be among the most technically advanced games on the console.
"We think it's a real shame that publishers and developers aren't taking advantage of the technical possibilities of the Wii platform. Most Wii games don't even look as good as the latter day PS2 titles and that's a real slap in the face to consumers," Kerry Ganofsky, boss of High Voltage, told IGN.
"We believe that third-party developers need to step up to the plate and deliver. The Wii platform is capable of a lot more than what consumers have seen so far. We're hoping to raise a new bar."
The Conduit is based around government conspiracies and is set in the aftermath of an alien attack on Washington. You, as Agent Ford, get drafted in to find out the truth, with plenty of brain-splatting to be done on the way.
High Voltage believes this kind of mature content is exactly what the Wii needs.
"There is this pervasive and cyclical argument that Wii consumers don't want mature titles, when there aren't those types of products available to them. And even more frustrating is the claim that Wii consumers only care about great gameplay," added Eric Nofsinger, creative boss on the game.
"Of course they care about gameplay, but we believe if given the choice, they would want great graphics as well. It's just a cop out. With Conduit, we are trying to make a Wii game that looks like a 360 title."
The Conduit will feature motion-sensing controls. They will be widely customisable in a similar fashion to Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 which, alongside Metroid Prime 3, happens to be a large source of inspiration for the game.
However, High Voltage is yet to attract a publisher for The Conduit, and no date has been set for release.
High Voltage was the developer behind the PSP version of 50 Cent: Bulletproof, and is enjoying chart success at the moment with Ben 10: Protector of Earth.
