Crediar (of wiidev efnet channel) has released his Wii System Menu hack boasting these features:
This hack includes:
*No healthwarning (the blackscreen is the time it needs to load the channels)
*region free Wii games
*region free GC games
*region free channels
*start the build-in rescue menu when Y is pressed on the first GC controller
*rescue menu patch to boot everything not just diag-discs
*No mainmenu BGM

Little news today to talk about the new version of my homebrew manager for the Wii and the string homebrew.
- Bug fixed with the IP address in hcm.ini.Lorsque you change the language, ini file was changed and the ip FTP deleted.
- To change the order of navigation in the fields, now you really go to the next field by pressing TAB.

IamAbe has again updated his Chip8 Emulator for the Nintendo Wii, heres whats new:
The new version of Chippy is ready.
CHANGELOG:
-bug fixes
-SCHIP support
-save/load state
-options menu
-save button mappings
-sound
-cant remember the other stuff
KNOWN ISSUES:
-randomization sux
-speed
put games in CHIP8 or SCHIP folder on the root of the sd card.

Description:
This is the card game Uno, can play from 2 to 4 players via the Internet (or local area network). You can play against 3 players controlled by the Wii.
Wiimote buttons:
B: Put a letter if you can put it. If you put a wildcard choose the color.
1: Like the B but saying ONE!.
2: Jump your turn.
+ If after skipping your turn has brought a letter that you can put the pones.
-- If after skipping your turn has brought a letter that you can make, not the pones.
Right: Moves your hand on your right to see more cards.
Left: Move your hand to the left to see more cards.
Below: contested a player (only in your turn). Select the player to which contested. You can challenge a number of players in your turn.
Contested on:
If a player contested fairly, that player steals a letter, if not just your stolen.
We follow the following rules:
- A player did not say when ONE put its penultimate letter the last time it was his turn.
ONE-A player said when he fell over a letter the last time it was his turn.
Configurations:
Edit server.xml and adjusts the server's IP and port with which want to connect (if you're going to act as a server you also have to configure, but it can be the IP private rather than public)
Rules:
The rules are one of the classic:
- If you can not put a single letter sacks one before turning to the next round, and if you can put that card can do.
- If you have a wildcard takes the next 4 loses his turn.
- There is no accumulation of +2.
- No letter boomerang.

Dragonminded has yet again updated his Media Player for the Nintendo Wii, heres the release details:
Music player for the Wii. It has a nice interface and is skinnable. It plays mp3, ogg, flac and other formats but does not work with wma or aac. It is a native Wii application (no Wii Linux) with the intent of being a multi-source media player on the Wii.

Your deck of cards portrays the results of your conquests
Sangokushi Taisen Ten is a real time card action simulation game based on the arcade version of Sangokushi Taisen 3. It simulates the time period in Romance of the Three Kingdoms and every card represents either a regiment led by a warrior or strategist. Form your deck and challenge the heroes in battles, the more you participate, the more skillful you become.
The board represents the battlefield, with one end representing your base and the other your opponent's. When your cards and the enemy's cards clashes, a battle happens and the damage you can do in battle depends on the power of your cards.
The rules are quite simple, just deplete your enemy's strength gage to zero. When your forces are getting weak, however, return to your base to replenish your strength. Get to know your forces, you have infantry, archers, cavalry etc under your command, assign the right tasks for them as you lay siege to the other's castle.
Geographical conditions of the battlefield also affects your conquests, take those conditions to mind when you apply your forces to the battlefield. Each of your military leaders have a set of tricks up his sleeve, but you need a high level of spirit amongst your soldiers in order to launch them.
One of the simple operations that may help you in battle is link. You can enlarge your forces by putting them together and move them up and down the battlefield for more power and efficiency.

Once upon a time, Akaneia was besieged by an evil dark dragon. Because of the monster, the inhabitants were living in fear and helplessness. However, a miracle happened, a young hero named Anri from Alitia fought off the dragon with the holy sword Falcion and rebuilt the kingdom.
For a century, the people of the land lived in peace and prosperity. However, the dark dragon rise again, this time he joined forces with the demon lord Ganeve and attacked Akaneia. To protect his kingdom and family, the king left the castle to fight with the enemy's forces. During the Kings' absence, the princess and the queen made a last stance to protect the country while the prince Marus is sent off to train in martial arts and war strategy so that he could rebuild his land.
Your role as Marus is to take over all your enemy's bases on the map, a battle happens when your forces close in on your enemy's. Get to know and utilize the power of your allies, some of them can move a longer range than others while some have more attack power.
The game is split into chapters which start at the point where you are left in the castle with your mother and sister. Your trial starts when country falls and you have to get out of the castle. During your travels, you will be sent to complete quests that would take you to places that you cannot unlock in the main storyline, challenge the quests and recruit unlockable characters into your forces to enrich the whole story.
This new DS version makes use of the Wi-Fi connection on your console so you can see who's the best military strategist amongst your friends. As long as both players are equipped with an NDS and a copy of the game, you can clash your forces against each other.

The DS version of Race Driver: Grid is set to hit the shops this Friday. If you haven't made you mind up yet, here's some more footage.
The handheld version of the game has been developed specifically for the handheld (always a good thing - Ed), with accessibility being at the forefront of the developer's mind.
The single-player mode takes you racing a variety of adversaries all across the world, whilst multiplayer and online options enable players to compete in four-player races.
They'll also be a track editor included, and you'll be able to upload custom creations to Race Driver servers. Race Driver: Grid comes out for the DS this Friday.
