Nintendo issues new update
This is more like a 3.3v2. Its still shows 3.3 but it states that the only change included in this update is the photo channel. I would encourage people to be cautious when updating to this. Although it states that it only updates the photo channel AND Homebrew still works, it could also have blocked the bug that Bushing reported last week.

Nintendo has allegedly held an event in Japan today where the company revealed the price and date for the Japanese version of Wii Music.
The information, posted on Rambling Man's blog and translated by NeoGaf posters, points to it being released on October 16 for 5800 yen. That works out at about £27.
The blogger also confirmed that Wii Music will be Wi-Fi connection compatible, no doubt so you can form a band over the internet.
Other information included the release date for Captain Rainbow (August 28) and four new Wii straps coming in September. If you haven't seen the trailer for Captain Rainbow yet, we suggest you click here.

Eight shots and a trailer for a new DS game called Mister Slime have hit the web. But you can see it below.
Set on an unnamed world, the game features a race of creatures known as The Slimes. They have brought chaos to their planet by constantly bickering with another group known as the Axons.
It's up to a young slime called Slimey to set things right. Players use both the touch screen and microphone to navigate through the game by stretching Slimey's arms to grasp hold of anchor points scattered in each level.
Before you laugh, it looks a lot better than it sounds. Just ignore the footage of someone actually playing a DS - it looks like it was shot in the office of the PR firm.

Nintendo has said that it is urgently seeking a solution to the limited storage space on the Wii.
The company has been criticised for not addressing the lack of space for downloadable content such as WiiWare titles, Virtual Console purchases and individual game channels.
"We have said publicly that we're looking hard at the storage situation, that we’re working on a range of solutions. We have nothing to announce now. But certainly it's an issue we are aware of and we’re working to find a solution and we will," said Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime, to MTV.
"From an Americas-centric perspective, here is the reality we see. We have a consumer base who loves virtual console. We have a userbase who really is enjoying WiiWare content. So for us really our challenge really is how do we satisfy all these consumers who are loving all of the product we make available on a download basis?”
"In our view this is becoming much more of a mainstream problem, which is why we have a sense of urgency to solve it," he said.
The company had offended dedicated Nintendo gamers last month when European marketing director Laurent Fischer joked that only "geeks and otaku" needed extra storage for the home console.
