Ever since Wii was announced, last bastion GameCube games have been dropping like flies to the newer console. Super Paper Mario is the latest game to suffer the same fate as the recent issue of Nintendo Power confirms via Codename Revolution.
The game, expected this April, will use the Wiimote side-style with the directional pad for platforming, the "2" button for jumping and "A" button to switch from 2D to 3D visuals. Graphics were said to have received an upgrade since the game's unveiling at E3 last year, and the title is expected to make "interesting use" of the Wiimote.
If you didn't see the transition from GC to Wii coming (as IGN alluded to back in September), you've been drinking way too much Nintendo Kool-Aid. Sure, it's tasty. But sometimes it has a bitter aftertaste.

You can learn and eventually master tactics like Chip'N-Charge and Serve-Volley providing a richer gaming experience than just 'Pong' with rackets. Use a range of different shots like, PowerShot, PowerAngle, Power Lob and Drop- Shot. To help novice players gain confidence, there is TENNIS MASTERS' unique HELPER feature. A simple blue cursor, that can be switched on or off, aids you to see the best position to be in to successfully hit the ball returned from your opponent.

2 weeks ago i sent an email to Datel asking about the availability of their Advance Game Port which allows GBA Carts to plug into a Memory Card Adapter of the Gamecube, i did ask if a Wii Version was posssible.
Well today i got a reply back saying yes its possible and to keep an eye out on the codejunkies store very soon
Lets hope they fixed the problems with the original Gamecube Version.
What this will mean is that GBA Homebrew and Emulators and Even your own GBA Games should play very nicely when they do release a new version in the near future.
Thanks to Datel for answering my email

Jess`s entry into the Drunken coders Comp, heres the details from the readme:
This game is a simple but addictive game. The main aim is to have Santa kick an Elf as far as he possibly can. to acheive this, you can either use the standard-input via the Touch screen, or if you have an NDS Motion Card ( www.ndsmotion.com) available, you can use that instead.

Release for the Drunken Comp by sumiguchi:
Thanks for trying out this game. I hope you
enjoy it. Your comments/questions/bug reports are
always welcome!
This is a music game so play to the rythm to get
the best score and more importantly, to make the
melody!
For best results play in a quiet area with the
volume turned up or use headphones.
There is a pretty steap learning curve, but after
a few tries I think you will be able to play
along pretty well with any of the six songs.
I have found this game to be impossible to play
using an emulator - please play on real NDS.
+++++++++++++HOW TO PLAY
Instructions on how to play can be seen by
clicking the ? on the main menu.
While playing, you can press Start to return to the
main menu.
Practice mode, runs the songs at 1/2 speed but
the accompanying background music is not played.
+++++++++++++SAVING++++++++++++++++++
This game uses SRAM to save results but you will be
asked before it is formatted & used. If your device
does not support it or you choose not to use SRAM,
your scores will be cleared when the power is turned
off. AKA: the end of the world as we know it
+++++++++++++MODS+++++++++++++++++++
The mod music was modified to fit my game engine
and to slow them down to a playable speed. The
original un-edited mods can be found at:
* http://www.modarchive.com/
* http://www.jump-gate.com/christmas/mods.html
Thanks to the creator's of these mods!
+++++++++++++WHEELS++++++++++++++++++
This game would not be possible without DevkitPro,
libnds and PAlib. Thanks to the contributers to these
tools that make NDS homebrew possible and more accessible!
++++++++++++HISTORY+++++++++++++++++++
I've been very interested in making a music game since I began game programming (July 2005). I enjoy rythm games but really wanted to make a game where you are playing one of the instruments ala Guitar Hero (a fantastic game).
I built a game for the GBA where you could play a guitar, well 20 powercords to be exact, by pushing different combinations of buttons. While I got the hang of it from constant playtesting, I couldn't find anyone that didn't find it TOO hard to enjoy.
Thanks to the DS touch screen, I think this interface is a lot easier to play - though you may disagree at first! It allows a user to have full set of 20 sequential notes of an instrument, (chosen to fit each song), and by playing the right note at the right time, you will not only score well, but you will be making music...so tell your mom your quiting band...and get good at this game :P
If you like this game...check my website for a new game coming out (also in January) by the name of playDiSmusic where I took the same gameplay engine and reworked it for a new look & feel all in the name of rock'n'roll.
Anyways - I had a great time making this game and am very pleased with the end result. I hope you enjoy.

Via SCdev comes news of a redesign of the M3 /R4 DS flash carts:
so what's the differences:
new style carrying case for cards with out chain
new microsd card reader, more reliable
new designed PCB, so no more M3 simply and R4 conversion, but it does retain the language conversion.
on the photo you will see that the four jumpers on the left side of the PCB were left with just one.
also the prices is increased from when I made my purchased at USD 29 to USD 40.

via ign
Today, Atari announced the development of two entirely new Dragon Ball Z titles. Dragon Ball Z Shin Budokai: Another Road for the PSP and Dragon Ball Z Harukanaru Densetsu for Nintendo DS will both be fighting their way to stores this spring.
Dragon Ball Z Shin Budokai: Another Road is the sequel to the PSP game, Dragon Ball Z Shin Budokai. The game follows the same pattern as last year's game and adds more than 50 new fighting skills and ultimate attacks, as well as the power to play heroes and villains from throughout the Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and Dragon Ball GT worlds. Additionally, Shin Budokai will offer Dragon Ball fans an entirely new storyline, following Future Trunks in his battles against arch-rival, Majin Buu. Developed by Namco Bandai, Dragon Ball Z Shinbudokai: Another Road is slated for release on the PSP this March.
Dragon Ball Z Harukanaru Densetsu combines strategic card-based gameplay and role-playing for a new Dragon Ball experience. Cards are the focal point of the game, as they are used to evolve characters and customize moves. Dragon Ball Z Harukanaru Densetsu will be available on the DS this spring.
Newcomers and faithful fans of DBZ will be thrilled with these two new handheld games," said Emily Anadu of Atari. "Shin Budokai: Another Road lets players take the DBZ universe over a Wi-Fi network with an exciting new story that is sure to grab long-time fans while Harukanaru Densetsu tackles a new form of RPG with card-playing -- an interesting innovation for the DBZ series that we believe will attract gamers who enjoy strategy-based gameplay."
