zeblackos has today released a very original application for the Nintendo DS, Weight Watchers DS is an application to help you slim with your handheld, counting the calories you eat everyday much like people do on the Weight Watchers Courses
Heres Some Screens:

Heres the translated readme:
Too many pizza pies, beer, Coke in front of its PC without moving another thing that fingers? aïe!
For all those which want to lose with their DS, I come to make small a software which has 2 functionalities:
- It is used as computer of points “Weight Watchers”
- It makes it possible to find the value (in points) of a food, a dish etc… in a data base.
Unfortunately, I cannot provide you my data base (approximately 7000 entries) because I do not want that W.W releases its lawyer horde while howling “hang them! they fly of the material copyrighté”… I thus provided a all small data base of 12 entries which you can (must) supplement by yourself.
It is enough to respect the order of the fields as what follows:
category; the wording; unit (DC, pot, section, etc…); quantity; a number of points;
example of lines which function (important: not to forget the last “; ”!!!):
Vegetables; French beans; G; 300; 0;
Vegetables; carrots nature; G; 300; 0;
You will find tons of infos everywhere on the Web, and even certainly of the preexistent lists… then one can rather easily convert them in the format of the software (with a spreadsheet for example).
If not, so that it goes, patcher is needed the program with patch DLDI of your linker.
It is also imperatively necessary to put the file “aliments.csv” at the RACINE of your linker.
Therefore, not of under repertory for this file.
keys:
- the virtual keyboard…
- The directional pad to go up and go down in the list from the answers
(and low to high make ravel one by one (if one leaves supported, the run accelerates)/left arrow = direct jump with the first response/right arrow = direct jump to the last entry)…
- A: hides the keyboard and reveals the calculator
- Y: equivalent of “backspace”
- B: obliteration

News/release from Kukulcan
I had a good memory of the play “DEAD FAMOUS” on CPC, I had of it even carried out a version in Flash NECRO-QUIZZ. And with the DS and its touch screen, it was the ideal moment to remake a new version. I kept the théme and the general idea, but I have all remakes has my sauce while more or less taking the advice and ideas of the various testers. QUIZZ A series of 20 famous characters will arise has you, and you have the choice between 4 answers to find the death which is appropriate to them. With each good answer you gain a No-claims bonus symbolized by a green flask. Each green Flask enables you to eliminate a bad answer, you have the right to use only 2 flasks to the maximum by question. The play has an educational goal, it is for that that you will have the solution of posted has each end of question. And when you pass the battery of the 20 questions you will have the right has a synthése your answers. The system of Question was programmed in the form of pickaxe, which want to say that you can carry out 5 parts without seeing the same character twice. With regard to the answers, there is 10 choices (Natural death, Pendu, Noyé, Emprisonné, Assassiné, Empoisoné, Guillotiné, with the combat, on the bucher, at the time of a duel), 3 bad answers are placed by chance at the screen, which want to say that for the same historical character, the configuration has the screen is highly likely very not to be the same one.
HELP You will find the summary of the keys usable in this play.
Select: Music Yes/not Intéraction with the background: R: To stop the scrolling for those which that obstructs. Pad: To modify the direction and the rate of travel. With Quizz: Stylet or Y X B A to answer has a question. L = To use a no-claims bonus to eliminate a bad answer Start = To leave

A new unreleased Gamecube emulator for windows has been announced, heres the details from the website:
We finished our works on the new GUI. Now it's final. Thanks to them who supported us with the
idea for the new interface
Fixed sound problem
After emulating the sound with 32 channels instead of 64 we found a bug in the main core that blocked the sound interpreter. Now all is fixed, thanks to Tranix_pwu and KrZ0r for their work last night. Now our own sound plugin is working, not good but it works :P.
Bust-a-move 3000
The game Bust-a-move 3000 goes ingame with max 17 fps.

8Bit Joystick has a very real problem on their hands, one we suspect will be affecting us in a week or two. See, their Wii is full from all the Virtual Console games they purchased. Since we like to cover Virtual Console games as well, we can understand where they're coming from. The solution, as you may already know, involves a lot of copying to the SD card slot and deleting the games from the Wii's included 512mb of space, freeing up those Channel slots.
Have any of you filled up, or come close to filling up, your Wii with Virtual Console games?
Read.

Well, we knew it wasn't going to be earth-shattering, but this first shot of the mic for EA's Singstar-meets-DDR Wii game Boogie doesn't even set off mild tremors. The USB unit is the first mic for the Wii, however, and that's gotta count for something, right? Still, we're not giving up hope for Nintendo to finally ship the fabled Wiimote microphone that plugs into that unused "audio translator" chip -- it's gotta happen sometime. Right?

We all knew this one was just a matter of time, but it sounds like the Japanese faithful will finally have the opportunity to purchase a glaring yellow Pikachu DS Lite system in the not too distant future. Of course, this isn't the first time the infamous Pokemon has taken over a Nintendo handheld, but getting your palms around this machine will be even more difficult than those other hard-to-get hues. The limited edition machine will reportedly sport Pikachu's face on the bottom right corner of the cover, include a matching yellow stylus, and in order to procure one, you'll have to show up in person at the Japanese Pokemon Center and submit your name into a lottery system. Supposedly, the winners will be able to pay their ¥16,800 ($139) and walk out happy starting on July 20th, and afterwards, the rest of you can shell out small fortunes on various auction sites if you just can't do without.

Distributor Koch Media announced today the point and click adventure title Secret Files: Tunguska is coming to both Wii and DS systems. According to the studios handling the development, 10TACLE for the Wii and Keen Games for the DS, Secret Files is "a perfect-match" for each platform's unique control schemes. The DS port will be out later this year with the Wii version following Q1 2008. The PC version of Secret Files is already at-large.
The adventure genre has struggled to maintain its presence on consoles and handhelds in recent years. The DS has revived the scene with Phoenix Wright, Trace Memory, Hotel Dusk, and the upcoming Myst DS. Secret Files will be the first traditional adventure game for the Wii. Could motion-sensitive controls shock a little life into players' interest in the genre?
