So the update has been available for a while but here is my updated review. A small excerpt !
"....I've extracted the .dol file from the update DVD (PAL) and put it here for you to download. I'm not sure what you could use it for but I've uploaded it anyway. I do however take no responsibily for the file nor for what you do with it. See the readme for more details.
Sorry for not writing a review of this update earlier, but due to the fact that my CycloWiz unit broke down I had to wait for a replacement. As soon as I received my replacement sample I installed the update and I have to say I'm impressed!...."
Cheers,
Scorpei

Nintendo has sold an astonishing three million DS and DS Lites combined in the UK in just two years.
"It's a great testament to the strength of the DS hardware and software range available, that just as Nintendo DS has passed its second birthday here in the UK, it reaches such a landmark sales figure", David Yarnton, General Manager, Nintendo UK commented.
This milestone is thanks to the huge success of Nintendo's Touch! Generations games, such as Nintendogs and Brain Training, as well as Animal Crossing, Mario Kart and New Super Mario Bros., which dominated the market last year.
"With many more Touch! Generations games launching in 2007, Nintendo DS and Wii will continue to be the main driving forces behind the expansion of the video game market this year," added Yarnton.

It's a shame that the Naruto fighting games on DS never get released over here because they're brilliant, and the third game is looking even better.
Naruto: Ninja Council 3 will let you go berserk with all sorts of awesome stylus-activated special moves as you wreck opponents playing as one of the 27 ninjas in the game.
Much more than just a straight beat-'em-up, NNC packs more than 60 missions which, if they're anything like in the past two games, will have you taking out enemies in a range of different ways.
The arenas are huge, which is perfect for the royal rumble-style battles you can have with four ninjas (including four-player wireless play) all unleashing fireballs and Chakra powers at each other.
Naruto: Ninja Council 3 is out in the US in May, and if this also doesn't get a UK release, we recommend you import because it's bound to be ace.

MySims on Wii looks set to give players more customisation options that any previous Sims game.
Not only will you able to make your own character, and house, but you will even be able to construct entire buildings and make your own furniture, all using the Wii Remote to manipulate an easy block-building system, as you can see in these new gametrailer videos.
The four new videos show in-game demonstrations of how the character, building and furniture customisation will work, as well as a neat little demo of how the cutesy characters interact with each other.

New press release:
Ready your bubble, take aim and prepare to bust, as publisher 505 Games today announces the May 11th release of Bust-A-Move on Nintendo Wii. The internationally beloved puzzle phenomenon makes its next-gen debut exclusively on Wii and is bursting at the seams with features, modes and of course a whole new way to play, using the Wii remote.
Bust-A-Move offers simple puzzle gameplay that’s easy to pick up and play but that also has enough strategy and depth to reward master players. Players must use the cannon at the bottom of the playing screen to fire coloured bubbles into similarly coloured bubbles at the top of the field. These bubbles advance down towards the player at regular intervals and if they reach the bottom it’s ‘game over’! Merging three or more of the same colour bubble makes them disappear and clever strategies can be put to use to create chain reactions, which clear multiple bubbles at once.
Bust-A-Move is crammed with the puzzle series’ staple ingredients to please die-hard BAM pros while at the same time offering a whole raft of new additions to thrill BAM newbies. Classic features include the return of a wacky cast of characters headed up by brothers Bub and Bob and original gameplay modes including Puzzle, Endless and Versus modes. Exciting new features include the option to play in eight-player versus matches – a first for the Bust-A-Move series! Other new features include ‘Shooting’ mode, where bubbles come at you from all sides of the playing field, and the generous ‘Slip’ option, which automatically corrects your aim if you’re slightly off. The full rundown of game modes is as follows:
· Puzzle mode: play through 500 different stages, each with its own distinct features, obstacles and tricks to thwart you!
· Endless mode: a head-bursting endless torrent of bubbles to test your skill and endurance
· Versus mode: up to eight players can face off against each other simultaneously for the very first time
· Shooting mode: all-new for Wii, bubbles come at the player from all angles and the player uses the Wii remote and nunchuk together to fight the onslaught
· Hyper mode: gameplay is speeded up for the most intense BAM challenge ever
“Bust-A-Move is a perennial favourite and we’re thrilled to be able to bring the series bang up to date on a next-gen console for the first time ever,” commented Ian Howe, Managing Director of 505 Games. “The game’s new modes, eight-player versus and innovative Wii controls mean that now a whole new audience can experience the classic addictive ball-bashing madness of Bust-A-Move!”
Bust-A-Move, developed by Happy Happening under license from Taito and published by 505 Games, releases exclusively for Nintendo Wii on May 11th, priced around £39.99.

New press release:
Publisher 505 Games is pleased to announce that the next evolution in the popular ‘brain training’ phenomenon is headed for Nintendo DS on May 4th. MinDStorm, from developer ASK Co. Ltd., takes brain exercise software to a new level and offers a whole raft of exciting new games, features and challenges – all designed specifically to stimulate and improve the player’s brain functions and most importantly, be fun to play in their own right.
Transform gaming curiosity into powerful thinking with MinDStorm. The game features ten distinct types of challenge for players, all of which are simple to pick up and play using the Nintendo DS stylus, touch screen and microphone. Each of MinDStorm’s challenges is designed to focus on enhancing the player’s reason, endurance, analysis, intuition or observation. Regardless of the type of game chosen, extended play results in improved overall brain function and enhanced memory.
A first for the brain training genre, MinDStorm throws additional challenges and problems into the mix. Players are rewarded with ever more complex riddles to solve as they do well in the main training mode. General knowledge and geography-based challenges are also included to accompany the more abstract trials such as sliding picture puzzles, mazes to navigate with the stylus and spot the difference games.
Further innovation is found in the way the game will adapt the tasks it asks players to perform according to the local environment it is being played in. When playing on a bumpy car or train ride for instance, MinDStorm will omit the tasks that require precise stylus action. When playing in public the game will spare players the need to vocalize into the Nintendo DS microphone. With its many innovative and exciting challenges and features, MinDStorm offers arguably the most thorough workout yet seen in a brain training title.
MinDStorm releases for Nintendo DS on May 4th, priced around £30, from publisher 505 Games.

Qwerty has released an update to his game Blubb 3D:
Change-Log :
Draw-Routine is called in V-Blank now - that should make the drawing fluid regardless of the 3D's framerate.
Included output of SGIP_errno when sending / receiving fails. that might help me bugfixing the communication.
Included animated ships (nothing to write home about - the 3d-Designer (me) sucks...)
Fixed the slow-down when many "move-markers" where shown (e.g. moving the green ship) - the game should run constantly at 60 FPS now.

For a return to the sources, it is a return to the sources! N64Francois returns the time of a play to coding GBA and offers obviously to us Sudoku very hooker. Graphically, Dr. Sudoku Advance is faithful so that N64Francois accustomed us, i.e. that the play is nice with wish. For the remainder,… Ben that remains Sudoku! To thus reserve to the amateurs of the kind, and God knows that it are numerous!
