Majesco has dished up the first screens for Powerbike, a DS racing game it's talking up quite strongly.
The game is being developed by Tornado Studios with Majesco calling it an "intense motorcycle racer that features death-defying stunts, intense police chases and competitive multiplayer modes".
That all sounds well and good, but the screens don't really back up the words. It makes you wonder if they've seen the likes of Mario Kart running on DS. Still, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Here's some more blurb talking things up:
When an anonymous sponsor offers the resources to compete with the best street racers in the world, the only thing left to do is jump on your bike and show everyone who is boss. Speed through dangerous streets and jump trains, bridges and traffic congestion while fleeing from the cops on eight challenging courses across the desert, city, shipyard and more.
Riders can earn even more cash by performing jumps, burnouts, wheelies and drifts in Stunt Mode. Go head-to-head with friends via local DS multiplayer in both Race and Stunt Mode, and use your hard earned cash to upgrade your bike's speed, acceleration, traction and stability in three different difficulty modes.

These are the first screenshots of Tomb Raider Underworld on the DS, and it looks quite good.
By the looks of things, the game retains its 3D polygons on the handheld (with fairly detailed textures, we reckon) but takes on a 2D gameplay viewpoint, which should keep things tight on the simpler D-pad controls.
There also appears to be mini games, including a Tetris-style puzzle, played on the touch screen.

The changelog for version 2.5:
- Fixed all the flickering

- World English Bible translation included, which has paragraph breaks and footnotes
- Footnotes and verse numbers appear in orange text (footnotes appear inline with the text)
- "Back" and "Cancel" buttons implemented all over the program
- Fixed a bug that caused the program to freeze while starting up for some people (Thanks Sebastiaan Leenders for reporting this and helping me fix it!)
- "Louis Second 1910" French translation included, and DSbible itself has been translated to French (Thanks JMS for doing both these things!)
- Loading a book is almost instantaneous
- Holding the stylus on a button in the text viewer for half a second will display a popup describing what that button does
- Bible translations and translations of DSbible can be added and removed easily by adding files or removing the files in the 'translations' and 'lang' directories.

kriogeN, author of Uno, updates CGDplayer passing therefore version 0.6.
The main addition this version is the inclusion of a menu for choosing the song to start.
Reminder:
CDGPlayer as to become a true MP3 player - karaoke.
Use:
To use this player, you need two files by song with the same base name: a music file. Mp3 and a configuration file. Cdg. Example: tataYOYO.mp3 and tataYOYO.cdg.
Both files are placed in the dossier mp3g.
Navigation:
The cross multidirectional can move in the menu and B button launches the selected song.
The Home button during song allows the return to selective menu of songs, if you sort of homebrew.
