One of the best GameBoy/GameBoy Color emulators has been updated. Changes:
- fixed time keeping problems (hiccups) on windows 7.
- fixed inaccuracy in mid-scanline change of LCDC bits (gejmboj).
- fixed a condition that would cause inaccurate timing of interrupt (final fantasy adventure).
- added "gameboy or GBC" system mode setting. added "blurry" doubler.
- fixed searching any opcode with a space giving "IO error 105".
- added field in IO map to view/edit the "low" bank of multicart emulation.
- fixed "remotejoy" bring broken. screen window can now init on secondary monitor.
- fixed failure of GUI elements initing on secondary monitor.
- fixed wrong field in wav file written.

Assimilate is a NES Homebrew where the player must grab humans using a tractor beam and then turn them into alien slaves. The project was first released on an actual cart, and true to his word John White has finally released the ROM for everyone to enjoy. According to his release notes only the unlockable campout level was not included. As of yet, we do not know if this is a recompile that does not include the level or if NES hackers will be able to unlock the missing level.

After months of development, beta testing and changes in shambles, FIX94 has finally decided to propose a new official version considered stable Wiiflow. This long-term project that involved many stakeholders (developers, testers etc..) fundamentally changes loader, adding many new features and bug fixes. Note primarily an effort on the "Gamecube loader" (Devolution, Dios Mio, Dios Mios Lite), support for official banners, adding a plugin system for launching various emulators, the possibility (again) use something other than the d2x cIOS.

Fans of Phantasy Star Online will be delighted to learn that the online mode, the modem emulation by using the wifi wii, has been further improved, including adding a new server (phone number "3") and use DNS instead of IP addresses coded "hard" in the loader. changelog: - add dial-up server for l33tserv (phone number "3") - fix audio for Crash Nitro Kart - add version string to Beginning of log - disable output gecko When EXI other device is in use, still has wifi freeze When initialization finishes while reading RTC - use DNS lookup for dial-up servers INSTEAD of a hardcoded IP

This includes currently following emulation hearts: - Final Burn Alpha (CPS1 - CPS2 - NeoGeo) [version 0.2.97.26] (*) - FCEUmm (Nintendo Entertainment System) [recent SVN] - Gambatte (Game Boy | Super Game Boy | Game Boy Color) [version 0.5.0 WIP] - Genesis Plus GX (Sega SG-1000 | Master System | Game Gear | Genesis / Mega Drive | Sega CD) [version 1.7.0] - Snes9x Next (Super Nintendo / Super Famicom) (**) - VBA Next (Game Boy Advance) (***) - prboom (interpreter for the games Doom 1/Doom 2/Ultimate Doom / Final Doom) - Fast Mednafen PCE (PC Engine / PC Engine CD / Turbografx 16) - Wonderswan Mednafen (WonderSwan / WonderSwan Color / WonderSwan Crystal) (*) the wii is quite limited in RAM, only about 23 MB games (at most) can be loaded. KOF96, Fatal Fury 1 for example. (**) SuperFX games do not run at the original speed. An optimized version of the core will be developed later (***) some GBA games do not run at the original speed. Spirits DS is a remake for the Nintendo DS game based on the popular game SPIRITS from TOPO SOFT who in 1987 make this game for MSX, Spectrum and Amstrad 8 bit computers . The project's goal is to make a remake and keep the spirit of the original, but adapted to the possibilities of the Nintendo console.
- The original game.
Spirits is an adventure game. In it, we play the role of a skilled sorcerer. The story begins when an evil sorcerer steals us our crystal ball, a book of spells and magic wand without which our powers are greatly reduced. Also, he curses the castle where we dwell, fill it with creatures of the night guarding our precious belongings. Not only that, it has also charmed the princess of the castle and one of the armors. These two characters are each one with one half of the only spell capable of defeating so evil sorcerer, which has been transformed into an eagle to chase us around the castle. We will disenchant these two characters to retrieve the spell and to defeat the cause of our problems.
- How to play.
The game is divided into two screens. The upper screen shows your character and is where the action is. At the bottom, we see where the next objective or purpose to be achieved. At first, we just see where is the crystal ball, main purpose and essential, without which the other objects and characters are hidden from our eyes. Having gained the crystal ball, these objects were no longer invisible in the castle and we can recover them. In addition with the crystal ball in our possession, we can locate the other goals. The ball will show us on the lower screen the exact location of the book of spells, magic wand, the Princess and armor, as well as the magician transformed into an eagle. With the corresponding buttons we can change the object or character that we want to see on the bottom screen. Next you'll get the book of spells and magic wand. Once we have these items in our possession, we will save the princess and disenchanting armor, which we provide half of each his spell to defeat the sorcerer.
Having done all this, we can only look for the eagle and defeat it, shooting the spell succeeded.
Remember that there are several enemies in the castle, of which only we can defend our dodging or throwing a stun spell of short duration, something which gives us time to escape from them. Shoot the eagle without the final spell is totally useless and contact with it, is certain death.
One last point. The location of the objects changed in each game, so you have game for awhile...

ACOTSYE is a first person shooter made with my "FPS Maker" engine, which I am also entering. Unfortunately, I had to rush development to get it "ready" in time for the competition, so it's quite buggy, and a lot of things can/will be improved, including performance. However, this game does feature a lot of nice things such as lightmapping, (very basic for now) dynamic lighting for enemy models, smooth interpolated animations and more.
It's also a "remake" of a game lobo and I made a while ago named ACOTV8RE. While V8RE was impossible to finish for most people, I hope you'll find this one to be more accomodating, while still remaining quite a challenge.
Most of the graphics for this game were made by lobo ! The yeti model I found a few years ago and can't remember where, so I don't know who made it.
Controls :
- ABXY/D-PAD to move
- Touch screen to aim
- R/L to shoot
- Select to open doors
I included both a nitroFS version and a FAT only version, just in case.

Hello, this is my first ever NEO Compo entry. This is a weather app for the DS which displays the current weather conditions; like the current temperatures, humidity, ect. For the most part everything in this app works perfectly, but due to some bugs in the pretty much outdated Wifi libraries you may encounter a few small bugs that may require a restart. I wasn't sure what category to place this in, because it's really not a Game, but when I think "App," I think of productivity tools, and this really isn't like that either....
In the end, I decided it is more like an "App" because it's really more like, say, MS Paint (clearly an app) than is it like Super Mario Bros, and it's more like a "Sound Board" type of tool than it is like, say, Guitar Hero....
It could kind of be called a "stress relief app," or just something to mess around with to pass the time (it really doesn't have any typical game-type elements...).
But anyway, if Dr. Neo's feels it's more like a Game, I'll go with his decision.
So what is it?
Kind of a Musical Doodling Tool/Toy....
I played an NDS app called AXE, and was inspired to create my own similar thing for the Wii.
You just point One or Two Wiimotes at the screen, and "Paint Music."
Button B = Normal Pitch
Button A = Higher Pitch
Buttons -/+ will change your Instrument
Buttons 1/2 will change the DrumTrack
Any number of people can participate!
One person can use 1 or 2 Wiimotes at the same time (dual-wielding!).
Or Two people can each use 1 Wiimote.
Or 3+ people can sit and watch and say, "Hey, it's my turn!!" while the first two people have fun....
