Whats New:
1. USB Gecko Rebooter with Master hook!
2. Universal System Menu rebooter options!
What is Rebooter?
This is pure USB Gecko awesomeness, What this does is reboots the console but with a 'Master Hook' enabled. Which means you can use WiiRD just about anywhere, including the system menu itself for remote debugging, downloading, testing patches or in any games.
If you are a cheat code hacker, master hook will stay alive when your game is loaded so you can remote debug any game that wasn't possible with GeckoOS normal loader. We have even created a silent loader which will also boot all Multi DOL games like Red Steal and house of the dead 2/3 which was not possible before!.
Exta Rebooter Options: (Can be used even if no USB Gecko)
1. Boot into Recovery Diagnostics mode (Boots Nintendo Diagnostic DVD's)
2. Boot all Import Games (Wii & Gamecube) (no modchip required!) As an added bonus our patch detects the game inserted and will patch the correct TV mode. All DVD update checks will be removed when this is selected.
3. Skip Button check - Just skips the A button check.
4. No Copy flag. With this enabled, you can now copy your protected Wii save games (SSBB etc) to SD card in the system menu as you would any other save!
As an added bonus for None USB Gecko users i've added ocarina to work with rebooter. Just make sure its enabled in the 'config' menu like before
Rebooter uses progressive scan patching so will work on all regions and versions System Menu 3.2 and 3.3
Again we didn't have time to add Ocarina / WiiRD to Gamecube mode, but we know how now so expect to see this very soon.
Some Gargon:
------------
All patches, multi dol loader, rebooter and game detection / TV Mode stub is all original code written by myself (Nuke) and kenobi in pure PPC asm, the USB Gecko master hook is the same USB Gecko server used in GeckoOS, so WiiRD, Cheats etc work with rebooter without modifications.
No IOS or other NAND hacks are used in the program
For developers - Our detection code and stub is locatated at 81700000 with the server at 80001800 which will be activated when a Game is inserted and Game ID read, TV Mode is switched in this code also. The Multi DOl loader is at 80001000 and this patches the menu to keep Hooks alive when Game Dol's are reloaded, i.e main.dol is overwritten by redsteel.dol etc.
The system menu is located in memory at 0x81330000, you can dump this in WiiRD.
One final note, I noticed sometimes the patches are not fully wiped from memory even when hard reset, if this happens just eject the game and power off for a few minutes.
Disclaimer
Rebooter doesn't patch anything in the NAND, and is tested very safe. However as you have full control with USB Gecko over the system menu and have full root privileges, please only upload and poke around with the system menu if you know what you are doing. We are not responsible if you cause your console to brick.

Ignition Entertainment has scooped up the rights to bring Blue Dragon Plus to DS in both North America and Europe in March 2009.
Ignition says Blue Dragon is a top-rated show on Cartoon Network in the US. We wouldn't know as we've never seen it but we've put plenty of blood, sweat and beers into the 360 RPG. We got to disc two and everything!
The DS version is looking like a 30 hour monster by the way. It was also directed by ex-Final Fantasy man Hironobu Sakaguchi, who fathered the 360 version.
Official story stuff says: "The story of Blue Dragon centres on a young boy named Shu and several of his friends who possess the ability to control phantom shadows that mirror the actions of their masters. In Blue Dragon Plus, one year has passed since Shu and his companions defeated the tyrannical remnant of the Ancients, Nene.
"In the midst of the battle, the world split in two and now consists of a myriad of cubes that exploded from its depths. King Jibral notices a mysterious cube in the distance suddenly start to move violently, and from it he sees the Shadow of a Balaur, a three-headed dragon, emerge. The enormous and sinister Shadow is just the beginning of the new turmoil and devastation to come."

Psychedelic Xbox Live Arcade puzzle game Geon is coming to Wii, developer Strawdog Studios has confirmed.
The Wii version will include all of the XBLA content along with four-player split-screen multiplayer, 16 new 'duel mode' grids and a ton of improvements across all the other colourful modes.
There's also the obligatory addition of Wii Remote 'jumpbash' moves, which you can perform by "flicking the remote like a drum stick".
It's out in February next year. Here's the feature list:- 16 new 'Duel' mode grids
- Improved game rules for enhanced player interaction
- For the first time, attack and defend on demand with a single button press
- Improved single player experience via the new 'Duel' league mode
- Improved 'Time Attack' mode - now a game of pure speed with no obstacles or opponent
- Improved tutorial to smooth the player's learning curve
- 32 player avatars for player profiles
- Wii Remote functionality with players able to perform 'jumpbash' attack moves by flicking the controller like a drum stick
- Up to 4 person multiplayer split-screen

In what should surprise absolutely no one, DS title Pokémon Platinum is selling lots and lots. According to data from Famitsu publisher, the game has sold 967,675 copies in the first two days it's been on sale in Japan, which is of course almost a million copies in two days. Gotta sell 'em all, you know.

Dragon Ball DS is an interactive retelling of the popular manga/ anime series. Instead of having Goku as an omnipotent fighter, the DS action adventure takes the players back to Goku's childhood, the time when he met Buruma and begins his journey for the 7 dragon balls.
As a full fledged action adventure, elements such as puzzle solving, fights and memorable scenes are fully incorporated. The game makes use of the twin screen feature of the Nintendo DS, keep an eye on both screens as you can attack enemies on the upper as well as on the lower.
The two screens are working as one when the game shows memorable scenes, so expect the fearsomeness of dragons or the hilariousness of the comic elements to affect you at tenfolds.
Aside from the twin screens, the touch screen feature is also fully utilized, drag Goku across the screen the speed at which you drag your pen affects his speed as well. Change from fist fighting mode to weapon fighting mode to activate the different abilities of the character.

We wouldn't go so far as to say that the apprentice has become the teacher, but over three years after modder extraordinaire Benjamin Heckendorn crafted his very own portable Nintendo 64, along comes one of his dedicated followers with another take on things. The Darth 64 is easily one of the most convoluted console hacks we've ever seen, utilizing bits and pieces from an N64, PSOne, GameCube and a Lazer Doodle. Somehow or another, hailrazer was able to actually make those seemingly unrelated components work together to form a "handheld" N64 console -- one that's battery powered, no less. JNKPlat DS 08 - Third Edition
Updates
Extra stuff, menu tweak, editor fixes, yada yada.
And, I think (!) I finally got rid of that random "<-- start" that kept popping up on the menu!!
Levels
6 packs included, 67 levels total!
I've placed Another World's levels in as Another World.. Seemed to fit!
Sir Voe's are in as Sir Voe's Simple Set, even though they aren't that simple!!
Midway
If you get halfway through a level pack (and the middle's at least 5 levels in!) you'll be able to restart from the Midway by hitting B on the menu, instead of A.
DLDI vs Non-DLDI
Folk who don't have DLDI will be able to play.. Woot! But they won't be able to save. Awww..
Those with DLDI should stick the JNKPLAT/ directory into their root so they can save.
Blocks are listed in the Level Editor Readme file that's now included.
(I think I remembered to add them all!!)

You'd think that after recent announcements of Shining Force Feather and Phantasy Star Zero Sega would be all RPGed out. Apparently not! Today, the company partially unveiled an all new RPG, and this one could be even bigger than those two!
The new RPG is... well, we don't even have a name yet! Nor do we have a platform. All we know is what's being shown at this teaser website
According to the site, the game is being produced by Rieko Odama of Phantasy Star and Skies of Arcadia fame, directed by Kazuya Ninou of Etrian Odyssey fame and will feature musical composition by Yuzo Koshiro of Streets of Rage fame. Character designs are by Mota.
The site doesn't offer any clear details on game content, although given the "dragon" in the URL and the silhouetted dragon that appears at the end of the teaser flash animation, it appears likely that dragons will have a part in the game.
With the mention of "Dragon," one is likely to think "Dragon Force." However, Sega has noted that this mystery project is an all new title, suggesting that sequels are out.
We'll find out for sure on the 26th, which is when the title is supposed to be fully unveiled. As usual with the Japanese news, things will probably leak out a couple of days in advance, so check back in the middle of next week.
And in the meanwhile, enjoy those two musical tracks that serve as background music at the teaser site.
