Sega and Nintendo's recently announced collaboration Sonic Lost World has shown off its first gameplay in its debut trailer below.Exclusive to IGN, this first look at Sonic's upcoming adventure bears more than a passing resemblance to the Super Mario Galaxy series - with its stages comprised of rotating spheres, cylinders, and side-on platforming - but given that those are two of the most highly acclaimed 3D platformers out there, that's not exactly a bad thing.It doesn't look like a complete clone, however, as Sonic's speedy moveset is different enough to grant it its own uniquely Sega flavour. Plus, we get a look at Sonic's six new adversaries. How much do you want to bet that Doctor Robotnik is behind them?

Sniper Elite V2 for Wii U lacks online co-op, according to MiiVerse users who own the game.
Set for release this month in Europe, the original PS3 and Xbox 360 editions of the game featured three online co-op modes.But these aren't including in the Wii U version, according to reports from early adopters on Miiverse, as spotted by Nintendo Life.
Developed by Rebellion and published by 505 Games, Sniper Elite V2 was announced for Wii U in February, and is set for a UK release in Spring 2013. Little has been heard about the port since its announcement.
Sniper Elite 3 has already been confirmed for current and next-gen platforms. It will hit Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and 'next-gen' consoles in 2014.

Nintendo has confirmed Game Boy Color classics Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages and Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons will be available on the European 3DS eShop on May 30.
Both titles will cost €4.99/£4.49 until 20/6/13 (23:59 CEST).Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons are two separate games containing completely different quests that interlink with each other.
"Onox, the General of Darkness, has imprisoned the Oracle of Seasons to drain life from the land. Link must control the seasons themselves to turn the tide of evil! An upcoming Japanese Nintendo Direct webcast will provide fresh information about 3DS games Monster Hunter 4 and Ace Attorney 5.
The event will take place this Friday, May 31, and will be hosted by Nintendo president Satoru Iwata.Last December, publisher Capcom delayed the Monster Hunter 4 release date in Japan from March 2013 to this summer, "based on the decision that further quality enhancements are needed in order to meet the expectations and wishes of users".
Western release plans have yet to be revealed. For a look at the title in action, check out 20 minutes of Monster Hunter 4 gameplay.
Ace Attorney 5, or Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies, has been given a release date of July 25 in Japan. It will be released digitally in the west, but not at retail,
The next scheduled Wii U Nintendo Direct broadcast will take place at E3 on June 11. It will feature Smash Bros, a new 3D Mario game and Mario Kart for Wii U.
Nintendo held its most recent Direct webcast earlier this month, during which it showcased Wii U games set for release this spring and summer.
The platform holder revealed European release dates for The Wonderful 101 and Pikmin 3, announced Wii U and 3DS exclusive Sonic: Lost World and confirmed a retail release for New Super Luigi U, among other announcements.

DeSmuME SVN r4648 is compiled. DeSmuME is an open source Nintendo DS(NDS) emulator for Linux, Mac OS and Windows. DeSmuME supports save states, the ability to increase the size of the screen and it supports filters to improve image quality. DeSmuME also supports microphone use on Windows and Linux ports, as well as direct video and audio recording. The emulator also features a built-in movie recorder.

* Whoooops forgot to add the simpleini.h file to the build
* Change it so we storing the cache file in the actual texture pack folder rather than in a new cache folder.
* Ok, fixed loading in of textures via our cache file, stupidly wasn't storing the foldername so it tried to find the textures in the root directory of each texture pack.
this should work an awful lot faster than reading information from each and every image
* basic testing of actually caching texture information, dumping works perfectly. Loading on the otherhand...
Im doing something wrong, just cant quite put my finger on it.
This is definitely not the most efficient way to handle it of course

Dolphin Git 3.5-1380 is compiled. This is the trunk of Dolphin Project. Dolphin is the first Gamecube emulator able to run commercial games! Dolphin is a Gamecube, Wii and Triforce (the arcade machine based on the Gamecube) emulator which supports many extra features and abilities not present on the original consoles. It has a partial Wii support and plays most Gamecube games.

Crediar made a small update to its cMIOS run Gamecube games from a USB device (Dios Mio) or SD (Dios Mio Lite), to fix a bug with the automatic change DVD multi-disc games. As of usual DM / DML is provided as a WAD file that overwrites the original mIOS the Wii (IOS ensuring backward compatibility Gamecube) OR QuadForce if installed.
Installation and Use Mini-tutorial: * Pre-requisite: - The latest version of DM attached - Wad Manager or File Manager Channel (or any other software capable of installing a WAD ) - A loader manager Dios Mio 2.x ( open Wiiflow-mod , USBLoader GX , CFG loader mod ) - A compatible HDD with a FAT32 partition, marked active , first on the HDD , formatted 32K if possible - conversion software games: DiscEX , GCReEX or Gamecube ISO Tool (recommended) * Installation: - Install the latest version of Dios Mio with Wad Manager or File Manager Channel (or any other software capable of installing a WAD) - Install SVN latest version of your favorite loader (note the last compiled version is not necessarily the latest SVN version!) - Your Games Gamecube should be converted, two format choices available to you: discEX or GCReEX. Gamecube ISO Tool provides a graphical interface and knows convert both formats. - The DiscEX size (-c) is recommended as it keeps the game in ISO format + bootloader while GCReEX decompresses all files (making writing and transfer of the hardest games) - The GC games will be placed in a directory "Games" at the root of the FAT32 partition - The HDD must ABSOLUTELY be connected to the Wii USB Port 0 * Usage: to detect loaders Dios Mio automatically look in the default directory "Games" at the root of the partition 1 FAT32 formatted and marked active, the HDD connected to the console port 0. No specific settings are required, UNLESS you want to enjoy 480p with your PAL games, you can force it into your loader options. Beware though, this option can cause problems with some small video games. Crediar no end to perfect his cMIOS to enjoy the games Triforce (arcade version of the Gamecube), following recent donations (thank you to donors). Today, it adds the ability to run games from a USB storage device to the detriment of SD devices however (if you want to continue to run games from your SD, this update is not for you and you must remain in version 4.0) NOTE: this is a cMIOS which replaces the original mIOS (or Dios Mio / Dios Mio Lite)! Once installed, QuadForce will no longer launch the Gamecube games (to find the GC compatibility, it will be essential to reinstall the original mIOS or Dios Mio / Dios Mio Lite). For this purpose, it is recommended to install a virtualized QuadForce NAND.

A method for unlocking the extra cores on the Wii U in Wii Mode homebrew was revealed by Marcan over at fail0verflow.
After referencing the recent reverse-engineering of the Wii U GamePad, he delved into the technical details of fully utilizing the Wii U CPU in Wii Mode.
While "a few critical hardware registers [are] irreversibly disabled in Wii Mode," it is possible to re-enable the multicore functionality of the Espresso CPU in the Wii U. Through a RAM monitoring, timing, and code-injection exploit, it is possible to run code during the boot process that enables the extra cores. However, increasing the clock speed or accessing the extra RAM made available to Wii U software is not possible in Wii Mode.
With this knowledge, Marcan hopes to see Linux ported to the Wii U to spur a larger interest in Wii U homebrew. He sees the free OS as the logical choice for an operating system due to its in-built multicore abilities and the similarity of the graphics hardware with that found in PCs, for which drivers already available, both of which would take significant effort to develop from scratch.
While speaking further about the Wii U, Marcan says that at this point, "there is basically no security left to break into, other than a mostly unimportant step of the boot process." Even though so much progress was made, he says that interest in working on homebrew for the system is minimal. Citing the ongoing fight between homebrew aficionados and those simply seeking to pirate games, as well as the troubles that modders have with manufacturers, he states that "we may have reached the point where homebrew on closed game consoles is no longer appealing."
Marcan also worries that simply releasing what has been done on the Wii U may lead to an "undeserved legal mess," which happened when they did just that for the PS3. Furthermore, he points out that cheaper, open living room devices such as Ouya may make working on closed systems unappealing.
By unlocking Wii U hardware, people in the homebrew community could, largely, use the same software already setup in the Wii homebrew community, and would hopefully build on what already exists.

WiiLauncher is a simple alternative to Gecko OS application. It has MOST of the Gecko OS HAS features and additional features for editing and downloading cheat codes. WiiLauncher Automatically reloads IOS patches and 36 so there is no need to install unofficial (patched) or even custom IOS to run the channels (with the debugger or cheat codes) or reboot the features. Full hardware access (AHBPROT) is used When Applying Such run-time patches. This Access Could be Obtained by running WiiLauncher implementation from Homebrew Channel (version 1.0.7 or higher).
