We Love Golf on Wii - first details

The first concrete details have emerged on We Love Golf!, a Wii game developed in collaboration between Capcom and Camelot Software Planning

No prizes for guessing that hefty use is made of the Wii Remote, players using the controller to "choose clubs, line up shots, swing and even add a touch fade or draw with a flick of the wrist", Capcom has explained.

It adds that gauging wind conditions, correct club selection, careful reading of the greens and true-to-life golf physics all come into play.

Game modes include tournament, character matches, stroke play and closest to the pin competitions, and single-layer is accompanied by multiplayer for up to four in head-to-head golfing. Mini-games and unlocks are squeezed into the package too.
