Xseed has announced that spooky Wii game Ju-On: The Grudge will arrive in the US this October, presumably in time for Halloween.
There's no word on a European version, but a recent teaser trailer suggests Rising Star Games has picked up the licence. We'll check.
As the name suggests, Ju-On: The Grudge is based on the scary Japanese (and Hollywood remake) film The Grudge, created by Takashi Shimizu. He'll be a creative consultant, and help players become the Yamada family, who must individually face a grudge curse accidentally placed upon them by their daughter who was exposed after a visit to an abandoned warehouse.
As if creeping around dark and bloody environments with freaky girls popping up in-front of your face isn't bad enough, developer feelplus will let friends grab a second Wiimote and push buttons to trigger in-game scares. The films - both Hollywood and original - are pretty scary.
