Just about given up hope on a Street Fighter IV Wii version? You shouldn't.
During a forum Q&A, a question was asked if Wii owners will never see a Street Fighter IV release.
Capcom V.P. Christian Svensson simply replied: "Never is such a long time. Beyond that, I have nothing to add right now."
Thankfully, Senior Community Manager Seth Killian chimed in with his own answer and revealed a few more details.
"While not every aspect of Street Fighter IV's presentation would likely be possible on the Wii, the core elements are obviously possible," he wrote.
"As for 'never happen,' I'd hope that if Tatsunoko vs. Capcom has taught us anything, it's that we should never say never when it comes to Capcom."
Hardly a confirmation, but Capcom loves porting games around years later after their initial release. Would anyone be surprised if a Wii version was released a year later? Probably not.
