Star Wars Pinball 3D will be released for the 3DS eShop on September 19.
Star Wars Pinball 3D will launch with three tables: Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, Boba Fett and Clone Wars.
The studio says the game has been "completely redesigned for Nintendo 3DS", but leaves out specifics, so it's unclear which features of the full console game will be retained. The lower screen looks to be used as a pinball-style LED light panel.
The game will cost $6.99 in North America and €6.99 in Europe. Above is a gallery of the first screenshots.
Zen Studios released Star Wars Pinball for the Wii U eShop on July 11. Aside from some traditional pinball play, Star Wars Pinball features an online meta game which tracks 'the balance of the Force'.
As the PR explains, "Players will choose to support the Galactic Empire or the Rebel Alliance with high scores as the Star Wars Pinball community fights for the Balance of the Force! The main game user interface will change dynamically, based on how the community chooses to support each side."
