Sega will be bringing a number of classic titles to Nintendo's next-generation console, including some splendid numbers from its back-catalogue with which we're really looking forward to renewing hostilities.
The listings were revealed on the ESRB ratings website, which every game has to go through for certification, and you'll be pleased to know that Sonic the Hedgehog is chief amongst their number. However, we're also looking forward to the soothing sights and sounds of Ecco of the Dolphin, the cruching mayhem of Golden Axe (especially the dinosaur riding) and the transforming delights of classic platformer Altered Beast (after our recent encounters with Ultimate Ghosts and Goblins we're really in the mood for some finger-wrenching Neff battling).
Anyway, the list is produced for you below, and official confirmation may well come at Nintendo's big announcement at the end of the week. We're pretty damn sure this is the definitive list though, so enjoy, but if you want to prompt Sega into releasing even more forgotten classics, why not give 'em a nudge in our comments field below and state your demands?
Ecco the Dolphin
Altered Beast
Toe Jam & Earl
Golden Axe
Columns
Sonic the Hedgehog
Ristar
