With the official launch of Rayman Legends, Ubisoft has removed the free Rayman Challenges title from the Wii U eShop.
Originally intended to hold players over until the delayed release of Rayman Legends, the game's free 'Challenges' component is now offline. A Wii U exclusive upon announcement, Rayman Legends was delayed from its original March release when Ubisoft announced the title would release for Xbox 360, PS3 and PS Vita. Challenges was designed to appease disappointed Wii U owners.
Rayman Legends released last week to widespread critical acclaim, with CVG writing that it "delivers essential platforming shenanigans".
Since its release, official ChartTrack figures have suggested the Wii U version has outsold versions on all other platforms, accounting for 45 per cent of total sales for the title.
Ubisoft confirmed earlier this week that levels missing from the PS Vita edition will be patched in at a later date.
