Nintendo has revealed the games that will launch alongside its Wii U console in the UK on November 30.
Presented by European president Satoru Shibata during a Nintendo Direct web broadcast earlier today, the full line-up includes two firstparty games in the form of New Super Mario Bros. U - which will allow players to bring their Miis into Mario's world - and Nintendo Land, the asymmetric multiplayer minigame collection.
Electronic Arts and Ubisoft are also contributing two games each to the initial roster, the former offering up Mass Effect 3 Special Edition and FIFA 13, while the latter delivers Rayman Legends andZombiU.
A further three games will make launch day: Frozenbyte's Trine 2Director's Cut, Shin'en's Nano Assault Neo and Two Tribes' Toki Tori 2.
It's a list made up of many familiar faces, which may be disappointing to those hoping for a little more Nintendo magic - onlyZombiU, New Super Mario Bros. U and Nintendo Land represent completely new titles.
But it's worth keeping in mind that the other games have been reworked with the GamePad controller in mind, and many will be finding a brand new audience in Nintendo's market.
And, of course, what may appear a relatively conservative line-up will stand Nintendo in good stead when it comes to attracting players that have looked to other consoles in the past over Nintendo's more idiosyncratic output.
That launch day line-up in full:
New Super Mario Bros. U
Nintendo Land
Mass Effect 3 Special Edition
FIFA 13
Rayman Legends
ZombiU.
Trine 2 Director's Cut
Nano Assault Neo
Toki Tori 2
