Nintendo fans can get 3D Classics: Kid Icarus for free when it launches on 5th January by registering two eligible 3DS titles online this Christmas.Gamers will also be entered in a competition to win one of 3000 limited edition Mario-themed 3DS systems. There are 1000 Mario, 1000 Peach and 1000 Toad designs to be won - the same irresistible looking versions that popped up on the Japanese Club Nintendo site last month.Around a dozen popular 3DS titles are included in the scheme, including Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7.The promotion covers games already registered from 1st November and closes on 31st January next year.After filling in two Club Nintendo codes from the list of eligible games below, you'll be prompted to confirm an email address on the Club Nintendo website. You'll also be asked which 3DS design you'd prefer, should you win.You'll then get a free download code for the remastered 3D Classics: Kid Icarus when it launches next year.Angelic platform series Kid Icarus originally launched on the NES in 1986. After a 1991 Game Boy sequel the franchise slipped down the back of Nintendo's sofa until game's hero Pit was featured in Wii fighter Super Smash Bros. Brawl.3D Classics: Kid Icarus updates the NES original with sharper 3D graphics, just in time for all-new 3DS adventure Kid Icarus: Uprising, due early next year.The eligible Nintendo 3DS games are:
