New Super Smash Bros screens

And we thought Zelda: Twilight Princess was a tease - Super Smash Bros Brawl is still cruelly without a definite date for its arrival next year and developer and publisher Nintendo is still being as tight-lipped about its super smashing game as ever.

This pair of new screens doesn't really make the wait any easier: Link, Pikachu, Mario and, er, that bloke from Kid Icarus together at last! It's the kind of image that will haunt us until we finally get a hands-on with the title.

With its creator promising no gesture craziness that doesn't add to the fun - so you won't be swapping hammering buttons for furiously waggling Wii-motes - we're interested to see exactly how SSBB will make use of Wii.
