Nintendo has revealed the Virtual Console games to be made available in Japan this month, spurring much jealousy amongst PAL Wii gamers.
Link is back for more Wii action, with Zelda II: The Adventures of Link (NES/Famicom) making its way onto the Wii Shop, along with cult-classic Kid Icarus, Ice Climber and Ikki, all for the NES.
And after what seems like an eternity of eager waiting (one month) the N64 section of the Virtual Console is finally getting its second game in the form of Mario Kart 64 - one of the N64's best multiplayer games.
Megadrive gets two games: Bonanza Bros. and Gain Ground, and the Turbografix games once again turn up in force, with Alien Crush, Moto Roader, R-Type II and Soldier Blade all on the way.
Disappointingly, only one Super NES game is listed, according to gaminghorizon.com; Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu - and as that never got a western release we have no hope of seeing that in our Wii Shop down the line.
The Japanese VC games tend to vary quite significantly to that of the US and UK, but could be viewed as a rough forecast for what Nintendo has planned for us in coming weeks. That said, we're going to be campaigning outside Nintendo Europe's offices until they bring Mario Kart 64 our way. Give it to us now!
