Nintendo Japan has announced that Game Boy Micro will go on sale on 13 September to celebrate 20 years of Mario games.
The diminutive version of the famed GBA will hit shelves across the Far Eastern nation with several different clip-on fascias and a selection of specially released software, including 20th Anniversary Super Mario Bros, Mario Tennis Advance, and a Dr Mario and Puzzle de Pon R double pack.
The machine's price is yet to be confirmed in Japan, let alone the UK, but many are expecting this third incarnation of Game Boy Advance to be significantly cheaper than the £99 DS.
Game Boy Micro is expected to be available in the UK this autumn
