Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata has said a third Nintendo 3DS revision could confuse consumers, and suggested that further design revisions - such as the much-requested dual Circle Pad version - won't be released any time soon. Speaking at a shareholder meeting this week, Iwata said consumers would become "perplexed" if given too many 3DS variations to pick from. As a result there are no plans to revise the hardware "in the near future," he said."A user will get lost with too many choices," he told attendees (via Genji2Game translation). Yesterday Nintendo confirmed it will be releasing a redesigned Circle Pad Pro to support the larger form factor of the Nintendo 3DS XL.
