News/release from wb3000
In essence, dsbuff is what dslazy would be today if development was continued. You will find the interface familiar, but the feature list extended.
The current features are...
-Info
-Trim
-DLDI (All Slot-1 Patches now!)
-Unpack
-Pack
-CrashMe (needs testing)
-NDSPatch
-NDSLoader (needs testing)
-ARM7 Swapper
-Skinnable Interface
-Header Editor
-Send to Drive
("needs testing" essentially means I don't know what results are expected usually, though they are all implemented.)
The changes this release include the addition of a Header Editor, which allows you to modify ROM headers, and a Drive function, which sends the modified ROM to your flashcard or wherever you need your ROMs.
Some smaller things include...
-NDSPatch now works for real.
-The interface has been changed, you now use the 2 left and right arrow buttons to shift the function buttons left or right. It's easy to catch on to.
To skin the interface, you simply need to create six images, one for the background (Ideally 444x126) and five for the buttons (Ideally 32x32). The names must be back.png, info.png, trim.png, dldi.png, unpack.png, pack.png.
Note that unlike dslazy, all the files this requires are stored in C:/dsbuff/. The skin files must be in the skin directory of this folder. And If you want any of the batches or files, etc., look there.
