Hi Guys!
Aphex, our lead systems engineer has made a new entry into the blog at
http://news.ds-x.com . The remarkable video (code available below) shows the DS-Xtreme in action running the homebrew application DsOrganize. Better yet, this reveals one of the revolutionary features of the DS-Xtreme as you will be aware that we have yet to release the DS-Xtreme development libraries and therefore this proves the DS-Xtreme can run homebrew which has been compiled for other DS enhancers. The full blog entry is available below.
Homebrew Support
I'm here today to share with you what is probably my favorite feature in the upcoming final version of the Xtreme OS. We know that there has been a lot of worry lately over homebrew compatibility with the
various new DS products which are coming to market. Many of you have concerns about libfat drivers, and the time it will take for your favorite homebrew to be updated with new drivers for new devices, or
even if these applications will be updated at all. We have taken these concerns to heart, and have come up with a solution which we hope will alleviate most if not all of these fears. We've put together a short video demonstrating, and I think it more or less speaks for itself. (And I also speak a bit, so I recommend watching with sound!)

No waiting for a new version with driver support. No confusion over multiple downloads and making sure you have the right binary for your hardware.
After testing quite a selection of homebrew applications, we are pleased with the results we've seen so far. However, if you do run into any issues with particular applications, we ask you to report those issues on the support forums.
We will, of course, still be providing libfat driver source once the product is in the hands of end users for developers who do wish to recompile their application for the most seamless interoperability
with the DS-Xtreme. Of course we also would like to extend our support and encouragement to anyone working on new homebrew development targeting the DS-Xtreme as well. One of our primary goals in the design of the DS-Xtreme has always been to support the growing development community as much as possible, and we hope to make our product the easiest and most flexible development tool available.
