Nintendo has confirmed with a message sent via the Wii system that Donkey Kong Country, DKC 2: Diddy's Kong Quest and DKC 3: Dixie Kong Double Trouble will become "unavailable for purchase" on November 25 (see pictured - image via GoNintendo). The message ends there, with no disclosure as to why they're being removed. There's also no word as yet if other regions will be affected. The DKC games were developed by former Nintendo studio Rare - now a Microsoft studio - but Nintendo owns the rights to Donkey Kong Country and its characters.
