Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D not developed by Retro Studios

is being developed by Minnesota-based studio Monster Games. It previously collaborated with Nintendo on Pilotwings Resort for 3DS and the Excite series.Nintendo has confirmed Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D will launch in Japan, Europe and North America this summer. It released a 3D trailer for the game on the 3DS eShop last month.Retro Studios' last project was Mario Kart 7. Late last year, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime said Retro is working on "fantastic projects" for Wii U.In our Donkey Kong Country Returns review we said the game is "an impressive, worthy successor to the Super NES series".
