During our patrol of the CES 2007 showfloor, which stretched onward for what seemed like miles, we came across several examples of studios using Nintendo's new generation console as a means to attract people to their booths. And it worked like a charm every time. IBM had a Wii on display and a copy of Wii Sports in the back of its showfloor presence. Dolby did, too.
Dolby had a number of new audio technologies to preview at the electronics event, but it was trumpeting an oldie but goodie, Dolby Pro Logic II, to spotlight Wii. Passersby could not resist the temptation and continually streamed in to watch and play Wii Sports.
