Cel Damage is a cel-shaded, vehicular combat game - a cartoony take on the Twisted Metal-style of gameplay - with 10 characters and 30 wacky weapons.
The game features deathmatch, capture-the-flag and racing modes, with matches set within 13 environments. 4-player split-screen play is confirmed for PS3 and PS4, but no online play was mentioned, nor were any multiplayer features for the Vita version.
The PlayStation remake will be a cross-buy purchase for PS4, PS3, and PS Vita (buy one version for access to them all), and cross save compatible for save game transferal between platforms.
The 2001 original was an EA-published title developed by Pseudo Interactive, praised for its cel-shaded visuals but receiving otherwise mixed reviews.
